Prime Minister May's cricketing upbringing: "For a lot of people what they see of the game is what they hear of it from you on TMS and we would have the cricket on TV with the sound down and TMS on the radio. I've never played, there was a little bit of French cricket in the garden where I would try and hit it but I never played seriously."

Prime Minister Theresa May arrives with a gift: "Made by my fair hands, chocolate brownies. I'm not sure on the BBC if I'm able to reveal which recipe I used but it's Nigel Slater's. I have made brownies for TMS before, once when Geoffrey invited me to Headingley. He's still got my tupperware."

We'll bring you some of what the Prime Minister says right here - she's even brought chocolate brownies with her. We'll also keep talking about cricketing education and strange foods seen at the cricket, which will provide an interesting juxtaposition to what the PM says.

It's still raining at Lord's, so there's no prospect of any cricket in the near future. In the mean time, a rather important guest has just arrived in the TMS box. You can listen to Prime Minister Theresa May right now on 5 live sports extra or watch on the TMS Facebook page.

Ashley: Beef Wellington at a Test match? Imagine that at Eden Gardens or the SCG. Only at Lord's!

The Boy: Real plates too? Can you imagine trying take those onto the Western terrace at Headingley?

Going back to the beef wellington. Look at the size of the hamper. And the two plates that are being brandished. Out of shot is one of the stewards providing silver service.

That is some of the most outstanding food I have ever seen at a Test. I thought it was good earlier this summer when I saw one chap pull out a whole cheese board, but this is a different gravy. I presume that's a cold beef wellington? Either that or he's got a battery-powered mini-microwave.

Your county team only plays 4-day cricket in early Spring and early Autumn. Name any other summer sport where spectators sit under an umbrella and freeze all day while hoping that play will start soon, and regularly expect to do the same for the following three days. (NB: For candidates studying for the basic entry-level ‘Diploma in Sports Management’, extra marks will be awarded if they are members of the ECB.)

Still lashing down at Lord's. I suspect the museum is seeing more visitors than usual and that the Harris Garden will soon run out of champagne.

Quite right, Neil. I know a chap who ruined his degree by watching pretty much every delivery of the 2006-07 Ashes series in Australia. He had to drop out. You could understand it if England were winning, but they lost 5-0...
