But also lost Dawid Malan...
In case you missed it, we had about 25 minutes of play before the rain sent the players back to the dressing-room card school.
In that time, England played some handsome strokes...

Showing your workings, and including a reference to a statistical record that is only broken once every 30 years at best, please demonstrate that all declarations made by an England captain are either a) needlessly cautious, or b) irresponsibly reckless, whilst always being c) wrong.

We're going to need some more info on that one. The futures of many cricket-loving youngsters depend on it.

Devang Dave: A quick google shows that Uni of Worcester does a course in Cricket coaching and management. Closest thing I can find.
Very, very bleak at Lord's now. The square is fully covered and the groundstaff have retreated to their hut/shed/tent. Those hardy enough to remain in the stands are huddled under umbrellas, though some are still enjoying what look like cocktail sausages. Settle in. We might be a while.

james menzies: The year is 2139, Ian Bell is now 157, when will people stop calling him the solution to our troublesome number 5 position?
Christian Reilly: To within 1 cm of tensile strength, what is the bend radius of Geoffrey Boycott's stick of rhubarb?
Serious question. Is there any educational institute in the world where one can study cricket?

Steve Briddon: Advanced: Shane Watson is facing Devon Malcolm in poor light at Headingley. Calculate the probability of an lbw dismissal.
Matt Jones: What is the correlation between the severity of criticism by former players on TMS, and the success of their own playing career?
And, to mark your card, the Test Match Special lunchtime guest is none other than Prime Minister Theresa May. I believe Mrs May is a big fan of Geoffrey Boycott...

Paul Huxley: Test question: Does a stick of rhubarb have the structural integrity to be used as a cricket bat?
The rain is pretty heavy. Sheets are being laid on the square. It might be a little while before we get some more cricket. Still, that doesn't mean the entertainment stops. If you head over to the TMS Facebook page, you can put your questions to Henry Blofeld, in what is his final Test as a commentator. Face Blowers Live.

So now we have: Stoneman averaging 20.00, Westley averaging 18.62 and Malan averaging 23.63... and all with below 40 averages in FC cricket.
When do England pick the likes of Rory Burns (42.35 avg), Nick Browne (45.96 avg), Liam Livingstone (51.88 avg), Ben Foakes (40.61 avg), Dan Lawrence (42.16) and Joe Clarke (44.36 avg)? All have been better in CC than guys England have been picking and are younger.
People keep saying there are a lack of better options from CC... but there seem quite a few.
Alex Appleyard
Here's the wicket that fell in the 25 minutes or so of play that we had. Could Malan have covered it? It was a pretty good nut.

Jay Barnes: When does Stuart Broad (while bowling) ask for a review? a) ball hitting stumps b) ball not hitting stumps c) all of the above.
James Levy: The score is 207-6. At what point will Geoffrey Boycott blame this on "terrible batting"?
Eng 64-5
That's enough for now. The players head for the pavilion. Well, at least the England batsmen do. The Windies aren't keen to leave.
Some umbrellas up in the crowd. One lady, clearly underprepared, shelters under her handbag. The umpires look at each other. Is that the hovercover I can hear?
Roach 10-4-26-3
Looking again, I might have undersold how good a delivery that was from Roach. An inbteween length, so Malan couldn't really go forward or back. In the end, the left-hander was squared up. Jonny Bairstow is the new man, met with a Roach bumper. It's raining, too.
Phil Tufnell
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
Very similar ball to the one Alastair Cook got. No foot movement but a good delivery and one of those ones from round the wicket that angled up. England are getting further and further into trouble. Game on.
