  1. 6 runs

    WI 174-3published at 38 overs

    S Hope 43, Mohammed 22

Brilliant from Morgan, flinging himself to his right at cover to stop a certain four from Hope as he leaned into a drive off Moeen. But there's no stopping that from Mohammed, who takes a couple of steps down the pitch to drive the offie for a straight six. Nevertheless, the ends with superb figures of 1-36 off his 10. Excellent stuff. Let's have a drink.

  3. WI 166-3published at 37 overs

    Plunkett 8-0-34-1

There's noticeably more scampering from the batsmen going on now than half an hour ago. Mohammed again steals a riskyish single. Plunkett then has his hands on his hips after the skipper collects two more to the boundary rider on the off side. Four off the over - a good one for England. Again.

Jason Mohammed is safe by just half an inch. He really had to sprint to complete that second.

He's safe. But that was very, very close. Stand down.

Tight! Mohammed decides to take on Sam Billings' arm from deep point in pursuit of a second and it's a matter of inches - millimetres even - as Buttler takes the bails off.

Shai Hope needs to stick around for as long as possible. If he's there until the end then he'll be scoring runs.

Dear oh dear. Jonny Bairstow, attempting to save two runs on the boundary, fluffs his lines, misses the ball as he attempts a one-handed pick-up and it ends up trickling for four. To make matters worse Bairstow ends up on his backside when he slips trying to atone for his errors.

He makes a much better effort of an easier piece of fielding to end the over. Cue ironic cheers from the crowd. All taken in good heart. Lovely stuff. Hope moves to 40.

    Moeen 8-0-24-1

Someone in this West Indies batting order will have to do something here - who's your money on? Shai Hope doesn't look in any rush, Mohammed is new the crease. We know Rovman Powell can give it a bosh, and I can't say I know much about Sunil Ambris. Steady again from Moeen - four off the over.

    S Hope 35, Mohammed 2

Ooof! Quick and hostile from Plunkett, Mohammed only just getting the shoulder of his bat in the way of the ball as it whistled towards his head. Mohammed plays and misses with a cut outside off stump. Replays suggest there was a faint noise, but it's very faint. I'm not convinced. Neither were England.

Jason Mohammed, captain in the absence of Jason Holder, is the new man. He's off the mark with a scampered single to mid-on, only just beating the direct hit from Jason Roy.

It was a nice bit of bowling - it didn't turn but just skidded. Samuels felt he had to get on with it and the pressure. He will be feeling a little bit miffed with himself, you don't want to use all those deliveries then have a little hack and put your team in trouble.

Samuels st Buttler b Moeen 32 (WI 143-3)

A change of ends for Moeen does the trick. Tossed up, Samuels on the charge, misses by some distance and Jos Buttler has as easy a stumping as you could wish for. Simples. Samuels' 32 spanned 60 balls.

  19. dropped catch

Shai Hope dropped on 32published at 31 overs

    WI 142-2

Chance! Down! Liam Plunkett is back into the attack - and Shai Hope larrups a full-blooded drive to extra cover, where Eoin Morgan leaps high, gets a left hand to but can't quite cling on. He almost manages to grab it at the second attempt over his shoulder as he falls to the turf.

Samuels ends the over by hitting West Indies' first four for almost an hour and a quarter.
