Cheers, Kal.
Right. Pakistan need 212 to reach the Champions Trophy final. They were great with the ball and superbly captained by Sarfraz, who shuffled his pack to tremendous effect. Predictions, anyone?

That's me done for the time being, here's Amy Lofthouse.
And, it's not often we have said this over the years, Pakistan were outstanding in the field.

Aamer Iqbal: Hoping England win this. Another defeat for Pakistan against India would hurt too much. Especially in the final.
Pakistan lost Mohammad Amir to injury before the start of this match but ....
Replacement and debutant Rumman Raees was more than up to the job. Hasan Ali became the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. Junaid Khan continued his masterclass in left-arm seam bowling.

Part elation, part bewilderment in Cardiff. England, the batting powerhouses, have been stifled. There were more fours (eight) in the first 14 overs than in the last 30 (seven). There were no sixes. Ben Stokes faced 64 deliveries without finding the boundary. Someone is going to have to bowl well...
100-2 inside 22 overs. Root and Morgan in. England looked to be in control, albeit taking their time.

BBC Test Match Special
It was a sticky innings from the start. The top scorer, Joe Root with 46, probably says it all. No-one was able to get a partnership going.
Baistow rode his luck before the impressive Hasan Ali put an end to the Yorkshire-man's innings.
Bairstow dropped on 27
England's scorecard doesn't make good reading, unless you're a Pakistan fan. Four of the top five got 30 or above but couldn't get past 50.
But let's start on a positive note for the hosts. Jonny Bairstow, in for Jason Roy, played some nice shots for his 43.

George Gray: Stokes... I love you but you've been absolute rubbish today.
Stuart Rowles: Summing up this innings: England got started, then went nowhere, then decided to slam it in reverse.
Pakistan bowler Shoaib Malik: "These are not friendly pitches for batsmen. But credit goes to the bowlers and the fielding was awesome. The changes Sarfraz made were exceptional.
"If you're chasing 210 you need two batsman. I think whoever gets in it's his responsibility to go to the end. I think a few of us are in good form. The responsibility is on us now."

That is very below par for England. Pakistan bowled really well in the middle overs, as they have done throughout the Champions Trophy. It's a slower pitch that the batsmen haven't been able to get their hands through.
So there we have it, Pakistan need 212 runs to win and book their place in Sunday's final. You'd say it's advantage Pakistan right now, but early wickets and anything can happen.
Wood run out (Sarfraz) 3 (Eng 211 all out)
They couldn't see out the 50 overs. Wood and Ball had to go for it, every run now mattered.
Junaid bowling a terrific final over, yorkers and slower balls. England go for a single and direct hit from the Pakistan wicketkeeper. Their fielding has been outstanding today.

It's the longer part of the ground and they use the shorter ball to encourage the batsman to go square of the wicket. The fielder was perfectly positioned. If you're going to go square you have to really get behind the ball and make sure you time it.
Plunkett c Azhar b Rumman 9 (Eng 206-9)
Plunkett trudges back to the dressing room. Rumman Raees deserved another wicket. Having just seen England edge him for their first boundary in nearly 10 overs, the Pakistan seamer bangs it in short. Plunkett pulls and another decent catch. Azhar in the deep readjusts himself at the last minute to hold on.
There were also no boundaries in Stokes' innings. It is the longest boundary-free innings by an Englishman since Paul Collingwood in 2010.
Hasan 10-0-35-3
Hasan Ali has been a gem for Pakistan in this tournament. He takes three wickets for the third consecutive match.
He is now the leading wicket-taker with 10 in total.
Mark Wood replaces Stokes at the crease.
