  1. Pak 26-2published at 9 overs

    Brunt 5-1-12-2

Pakistan are on the ropes now. Of the 30 deliveries sent down by Katherine Brunt, 23 of them have been dots.

Brilliantly executed slower ball out of the back of the hand, her arm speed stayed the same and it completely foxed the Pakistan batter. She's the sort of player that wears her heart on her sleeve and visibly the other day she was upset with the way she performed.

    Javeria b Brunt 11 (Pak 26-2)

Superb skill from Katherine Brunt, who delivers a slower ball with unerring accuracy which rocks back Javeria's middle stump. There was no discernible change in action and the batter was completely deceived.

In the first eight overs England only hit four fours and in the end it was 44 fours and seven sixes.

  5. Pak 21-1published at 8 overs

    Target 378

Tip and run from Javeria, who dabs the ball into the off side and brings up her seventh run off 26 balls.

One of my favourite moments with Katherine Brunt was in 2009 and her suggesting we should listen to some music. We were really going for it to this head banging music and the next morning we couldn't move and we didn't know what to say to the physio.

  7. Pak 20-1published at 7 overs

    Ayesha 10, Javeria 6

Here's that opening wicket. The ball was there to be pulled but Nahida couldn't get on top of the bounce. Pakistan continue to move at a snail's pace. Their required run-rate is creeping up to 8.5 an over already.

  8. Pak 19-1published at 6 overs

    Ayesha 10, Javeria 5

The first boundary of the innings, Shrubsole experiments with a short one and the bespectacled Ayesha is on to it in a flash, pulling it away over mid-wicket for four.

  9. Pak 12-1published at 5 overs

    Brunt 3-1-6-1

Pakistan finally beat the in-field, Ayesha leaning on a Katherine Brunt delivery and steering it through point. The shot brings two and some extra company for the batsman as a fielder is brought in to plug the gap.

It is a stark contrast. At the start of the England innings it was really swinging and causing problems. There is a little bit for the England bowlers but not that elaborate swing we saw earlier.

  11. Pak 9-1published at 4 overs

    Target 378

Javeria looks to be a batter with a flourish. A slight hint of width from Anya Shrubsole and she's flaying a single behind point. Slow going.

Katherine Brunt with a wicket maiden in her second over today. After two overs on Saturday she'd gone for 24 runs.

Katherine Brunt has pretty much said she's going to bowl till she dies, so we can hope she's got many years ahead of her. She'll be 32 on Sunday.

  14. Pak 7-1published at 3 overs

    Target 378

A wicket-maiden for Katherine Brunt. England are prowling in the field - encouraging each other and diving about to fetch every ball.

That's a big wicket for Pakistan as Nahida Khan often shepherds them through - she was still walking as she played the shot. I'm not sure what's up in the clouds, but Pakistan have a long period of batting ahead of them.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 2.1 overs

    Nahida c Sciver b Brunt 3 (Pak 7-1)

Nat Sciver can do no wrong. Fresh from blasting a brutal century with the bat, she's johnny-on-the-spot at mid-wicket to take the catch when Nahida pulls a short Katherine Brunt delivery straight to the fielder. Tame dismissal.

As you'd expect, England look energetic in the field.

  18. Pak 6-0published at 2 overs

Anya Shrubsole, the other half of England's experienced new-ball pair, bowls a tidy opening over. Again, just three from it.

They're going to be relying on Nahida, she got 79 the other day and she's one of their most experienced batters. Expect her to play a few shots while the powerplay's on.

  20. Pak 3-0published at 1 over

    Target 378

Katherine Brunt has the new ball in hand. Steaming in with aggression and a moody look on her face, she puts her hands on her head when Ayesha almost chops on. Pakistan knock an early three from the total.
