Mark Robinson has brought a lot to this side. He pushed hard on fitness understands the individual. He has toughened them up.
So many times we have seen England give it away but we have had loads of occasions in this tournament where they have got over the line. That mentality has shifted. Him bringing his experience from the professional game has had an impact in this environment.

More from India captain Mithali Raj: "Thank you to the crowd for turning up. It is a huge boost to play in front of a packed stadium.
"These girls are inexperienced of this platform, playing in their first final. The youngsters tried their best and I am sure this will help them in the future. I will definitely play for a few more years but I don't see myself playing the next World Cup."

"India were batting brilliantly and put good partnerships together. We knew if we hung in and kept the rate at five or six then we would always be in the game and we held out nerve."
India captain Mithali Raj: "It wasn't easy for England but credit to them. They kept their nerve. There was a time when the match was in the balance. We panicked and they came out victorious.
"I would like to tell the girls I am very proud of them. They didn't make any match look easy for the opposition."

The world champions. As the trophy was lifted, I got covered in tickertape and a man next to me screamed "go pyro" into a walkie-talkie. On cue, fireworks shot into the London air.

England's Sarah Taylor: "I am so proud of the girls. We knew if we stuck in the game and built dots and pressure we would get there.
"It has been a been rollercoaster for myself. To be part of this team is incredible. It was a case of getting healthy and to be part of something. It was pot luck to be back for this World Cup. This is amazing."
Heather Knight goes running back to her team, grabs the trophy and holds it high above her head! Champagne goes spraying everywhere as Knight cradles the trophy, before she passes it down the line to all her team-mates.

There's tears all over the place. Katherine Brunt is heckling Heather Knight with a yell of "we love you, Heather!" Danielle Hazell is half laughing, half crying. What a day.
A ceremonial handing over from England to New Zealand, who will host the next World Cup - far as I can tell, they pass a box over - before England come up to receive their medals. Heather Knight really wants to get her hands on that trophy, but she'll have to wait another minute or two...
Winners are grinners.

Here come the India players to receive their runner-up medals. They get a brilliant standing ovation from the crowd, with the India contingent singing them up to the podium. Captain Mithali Raj, smile in place, in the last player to step up.
