    Middlesex 300-3 v Yorkshire

All three of Middlesex's home games have ended in draws so far.

It doesn't seem like it's getting any easier for the bowlers at Lord's on the evidence of today.

The 300 is up for the hosts and Sam Robson is continuing on his merry way. The 27-year-old is up to 133.

  3. Ali out after blitzpublished at 17:41 British Summer Time 19 June 2017

Oh Moeen, why do you do this to us?!

After smacking nine fours in his first 15 balls, the England all-rounder holes out to deep mid-wicket off Matt Coles for 37.

It was stunning while it lasted, but he needed to go on for Worcestershire.

Rikki Clarke's double strike with the new ball has left this match evenly poised approaching the end of the first day.

Things were looking ominous for the visitors as Nick Browne and Ravi Bopara added 127 for the fourth wicket, both gaining in fluency as conditions eased with the older ball.

Clarke's dismissal of Ryan ten Doeschate was particularly important given the Essex captain's prolific form. But Bopara is still there and heading for a deserved hundred.

    Worcestershire 33-1 v Kent 260

    Hello Moeen!

Still 16 overs to go in London. Phew.

Century for Nick Selmanpublished at 17:25 British Summer Time 19 June 2017

    Durham v Glamorgan 199-4

Talk about a gritty knock from Glamorgan's Nick Selman.

The 21-year-old reaches his fifth first-class hundred from a marathon 249 balls. Concentration of the highest order.

Meanwhile at Worcestershire, Moeen Ali has just come in after Brett D'Oliveira edged Darren Stevens to slip for a duck.

The England all-rounder gets away with a couple of boundaries, the hosts are 10-1 in reply to Kent's 260 all out.

How often do you see a wicket after a drinks break?

Nick Browne is bowled by Rikki Clarke with the new ball just 16 short of his century.

That's a huge late boost for the visitors on such a stifling day.

  11. 100 runs

    Division Two update

A gutsy last-wicket stand of 30 between Mitch Claydon and Yasir Shah finally ends at the hand of Worcestershire paceman John Hastings as Shah is caught by Joe Leach.

Leicestershire have also made a breakthrough, Dieter Klein bowling Michael Lumb for 36, but Notts are still in a fine position at 253-4. Samit Patel is just seven away from his ton.

It's still slow going at Chester-le-Street where Glamorgan are 182-4 off 80.4 overs.

Chris Rushworth has just dismissed Aneurin Donald - Nick Selman is unbeaten on 92.

    Lancashire v Hampshire 232-7

Hampshire are seven down at Old Trafford.

It's probably not the man they wanted, but it's still a crucial breakthrough from spinner Stephen Parry.

Gareth Berg attempts a sweep, but is struck on the pad by the left-armer and up goes the finger.

Kyle Abbott joins skipper George Bailey in the middle.

Century for George Baileypublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 19 June 2017

    Lancashire v Hampshire 220-6

    Brilliant from George Bailey.

With wickets falling around him, the Australia batsman has brought up his century to hold this Hampshire innings together.

It came off 145 balls with 15 fours.

Gareth Berg is providing good support for his skipper at the other end, and the visitors are creeping up towards a competitive total.

  17. 'Safety-first approach'published at 16:47 British Summer Time 19 June 2017

    Durham v Glamorgan 171-3

    Nick Webb
    BBC Wales Sport

Durham have kept the brakes firmly applied into the evening session despite Nick Selman approaching his third century of season.

The young Brisbane-born opener kept up his studious approach while Colin Ingram was caught behind for 33 off teenage seamer Matty Potts, playing just his second game.

But a slow pitch and a safety-first approach have made for a soporific day's play so far- only time will tell whether Glamorgan's tactics are the right ones.

  19. 'Bailey feeling at home'published at 16:39 British Summer Time 19 June 2017

    Lancashire v Hampshire 202-6 - tea

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Manchester Sport

On a hot day in Manchester, Australian George Bailey will be feeling right at home and he's held the innings together superbly for Hampshire.

Should he go onto reach three figures in would be his first in the County Championship for Hampshire.

Lancashire have bowled really well throughout the day and have made runs tough to come by for the visitors.

  20. Maiden Championship 100 for Paul Stirlingpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 19 June 2017

    Middlesex 244-2 v Yorkshire

Paul Stirling joins his partner Sam Robson in the century club moments later. It's come off just 120 balls.

The Irishman now has five first-class tons, but four of them have been for his country.

    Yorkshire are toiling. Badly.
