In the end, despite the endeavours of both captains to set up a game, the match drifts tamely to a draw.
Credit to Gloucestershire's Jack Taylor and Kieran Noema-Barnett who batted through the final session with an unbroken stand of 95, but the loss of more than 150 overs due to bad weather was ultimately decisive.
