  1. Lancashire 47-2published at 6 overs

    Croft 25, Lilley 1

David Willey bowls the last over of the powerplay and gets some tap.

He's not helped by some absolutely shambolic fielding from Adil Rashid, who allows one through his legs for four at third man before Steven Croft makes it a hat-trick of boundaries with a smash through cover and a clip down to fine-leg.

That's the end of the powerplay. Yorkshire will be pleased with their start overall.

  2. Lightning off the pacepublished at 20:44 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    Lancashire 33-2

    Richard Blakey
Ex-Yorkshire and England wicketkeeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Leading from the front is Tim Bresnan.

Yorkshire had amassed 77 by the same stage and Lancashire are well behind at the moment.

The required rate is up at 10s.

  3. Lancashire 33-2published at 5 overs

Lancashire need 150 runs to win

Tim Bresnan is using all his experience, bowling just back of a length outside offstump to a packed offside field. It's working well so far, with Steven Croft and Arron Lilley struggling to get him away.

  4. Lancashire 30-2 - target 183published at 4 overs

    Croft 9, Lilley 0

Liam Plunkett is into the attack and bowling with good pace. Steven Croft gets him to the boundary twice, though - once down to third man and once to fine leg from a bouncer.

The Lightning need a partnership here. They also need 9.56 runs per over.

  5. Lyth leads the waypublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

Yorkshire's total of 182-7 was built on an opening stand of 95 between Adam Lyth and Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Here's one of the biggest of Lyth's four sixes.

  6. dropped catch

Sarfraz puts one downpublished at 3 overs

    Yorkshire 21-2

It's nearly three for Tim Bresnan, but Sarfraz Ahmed behind the stumps shells an outside edge on the dive. What a start for the Yorkshire skipper!

  7. South group updatepublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    • Sussex Sharks produced an excellent bowling performance to dismiss Gloucestershire for 138 with seven balls remaining in their innings. Chris Jordan and George Garton tok three wickets each, while Phil Mustard top-scored with 43 from 32 balls.
    • Sam Northeast's 59 from 42 balls carried Kent Spitfires to 167-7 in their 20 overs against Hampshire, with England new boy Mason Crane wicketless and conceding 32 from three overs.
    • Nathan Sowter took 4-23 for Middlesex, but Essex Eagles still managed to reach 172-9, despite no-one being able to better opener Adam Wheater's 43.
  8. wicket

WICKET Brown (c Leaning b Bresnan) 7published at 2.5 overs

    Yorkshire 21-2

Uh oh. Karl Brown that's not a great shot. The Lancashire opener flicks Tim Bresnan out to Jack Leaning at deep backward square, who takes a simple catch.

  9. wicket

    WICKET Livingstone (c Kohler-Cadmore b Bresnan) 14published at 2.3 overs

    Yorkshire 21-1

Liam Livingstone takes an almighty swipe at Tim Bresnan but can only skew it to a retreating Tom Kohler-Cadmore at mid-off. Big wicket.

  10. Lancashire's safe handspublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

Lancashire's catching was excellent during the Yorkshire innings - here's a reminder of one of them.

  11. Lancashire 20-0published at 2 overs

    Brown 6, Livingstone 14

After the success of the Lancashire spinners, it's not surprising to see Azeem Rafiq on early.

It's a solid start for the off-spinner too, as he turns a few to keep Karl Brown and Liam Livingstone honest. Just seven off the over. You sense the spin of Rafiq and Adil Rashid will be key in this chase.

  12. Lancashire 13-0published at 1 over

There is some swing. David Willey is an expert at swinging the white ball and he nips the first three balls back into the right-handers' pads.

But after three good deliveries Liam Livingstone climbs into him. Willey drops one short and Livingstone pulverises it to the legside boundary. He clubs the fifth ball over the offside to the fence, while the final ball is driven straight for hat-trick of fours. Good start for the away side.

  13. North group updatepublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    • Notts Outlaws have made a positive start in their attempt to score 181 to beat Birmingham Bears, but have lost three wickets in the process. They are 60-3 in the sixth over, with two of the wickets so far to paceman Olly Stone
    • Northants Steelbacks have lost two early wickets, with Richard Levi and Ben Duckett the men to go, chasing 194 to beat Leicestershire Foxes, for whom Mark Cosgrove made 79 off 48 balls.
    • Worcestershire Rapids are 51-1 in the eighth over, replying to Durham's 165-5, in which Tom Latham hit 62 off 40 balls.
  14. Lancashire begin their chasepublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

Liam Livingstone and Karl Brown are out in the middle. It's David Willey with the new ball. Will it swing for the England left-armer? We're about to find out.

  15. 'Anybody's game now'published at 20:17 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    Yorkshire 182-7

    Richard Blakey
Ex-Yorkshire and England wicketkeeper on BBC Radio 5live

It's a competitive score, still. With a big home crowd in, that could help the Vikings.

They got off to a great start with 77 from the powerplay. But then it was a steady porcession of wickets and Yorkshire were guilty of picking out fielders.

Credit to Lancashire though - they bowled particularly well in the middle overs. Parkinson was the pick of them with 4-23.

It could be anybody's game now.

Is 182 enough for Yorkshire? They certainly looked like achieving far more when their openers were together in the middle. What about the bowling of Matt Parkinson? With Mason Crane in the Test squad, it looks like we've suddenly got a crop of young leggies around the country. Let us have your opinions.

  17. Yorkshire 182-7published at 20 overs

Junaid Khan to bowl the final over and his ability to disguise the taking of pace off the ball is to much for Liam Plunkett, who completes a pull shot almost before it has reached him. A bye gets him off strike leaving Adil Rashid to face the final delivery of the innings. Rashid can make nothing of it and another bye is all Yorkshire can muster. Just five off the over. So who are the favourites now?

  18. Yorkshire 177-7published at 19 overs

Adil Rashid is in at nine for Yorkshire, a batsman with first-class centuries to his credit. He can only manage a single from his first delivery and it's going to take something special for Yorkshire to get anywhere near 200 now.

  19. wicket

    WICKET Bresnan (c Livingstone b McLaren)published at 18.4 overs

    Yorkshire 175-7

Ryan McLaren starts with a wide after Liam Plunkett comes out to join Tim Bresnan at the crease. Bresnan takes one from the next delivery - what can the big-hitting Plunkett do for Yorkshire now? Watch Bresnan walk off for one thing as he top edges and Liam Livingstone takes another good catch.

  20. South group updatepublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

No run fests down south, where in general the bowlers are doing well.

    • Essex Eagles are now 134-5 from 15.1 overs against Middlesex following Ravi Bopara's dismissal for 27.
    • Hampshire have just struck a big blow to Kent Spitfires' chances of a big finish, with Chris Wood bowling Sam Billings for 40 to leave the hosts 135-4 from 16.5 overs.
    • Gloucestershire are struggling against Sussex Sharks. They're 125-7 from 15.5 overs with two new batsmen at the crease.
