  1. wicket

WICKET Leaning (c Lilley b Junaid 24)published at 18 overs

    Yorkshire 172-6

Back to seam for Lancashire as Junaid Khan returns. Only two runs come from the first three deliveries as the left-armer mixes up his pace and line. He then digs in a bouncer and although Jack Leaning doesn't middle the hook shot, he makes enough of a contact to collect four runs.

It's his final scoring stroke as he obligingly chips the next delivery, a low full-toss straight to deep mid-wicket. Lancashire's catching has been god and Arron Lilley makes no mistake with this one.

  2. Yorkshire 165-5published at 17 overs

After that opening stand of 95 between Adam Lyth and Tom Kohler-Cadmore Yorkshire have struggled to find a successful game plan as they build their total. Jack Leaning, though, adds six welcome runs to the total as he muscles the ball over long-on and then pulls the next one away for a single-bounce four. Arron LIlley sends down a full toss to end the over, but it only costs him one.

  3. Yorkshire 149-5published at 16 overs

Jack Leaning pulls hard but can only take one as the fielder at deep mid-wicket picks up and returns to the keeper. Yorkshire skipper Tim Bresnan is struck on the pad by Stephen Parry's final delivery, but it's missing leg stump. No run from it, though.

  4. North group updatepublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    • Birmingham Bears have done well to reach 180-7 after a poor start. That's largely thanks to Sam Hain, who scored 82 from 50 balls against Notts Outlaws.
    • Worcestershire Rapids are chasing 166 to win, after Durham Jets posted 165-5. Michael Richardson top-scored with 49.
    • Leicestershire Foxes' first innings is still going at Northampton. They're 178-4, with eight balls left to score from against Northants Steelbacks.
  5. wicket

WICKET Marsh (c Livingstone b Parry) 13published at 15.3 overs)

    Yorkshire 146-5 (15.3 overs)

Yorkshire are making a mess of this now. Shaun Marsh attempts his firs big shot and picks out Liam Livingstone unerringly at deep mid-wicket. That 200 target is now looking a long way off.

  6. Yorkshire 144-4published at 15 overs

Ten an over from here gets Yorkshire to 200 and at least they won't have to contend with Matt Parkinson any more. At this stage, Shaun Marsh appears content to keep the strike rotating, rather than trying to clear the rope. Just four from that one by Arron Lilley.

That's the end of a brilliant spell from Matt Parkinson. He finished off with a poor full-toss, but other than that he's been exemplary. To take four wickets on a damp evening for a leg-spinner is a wonderful effort.

  8. Yorkshire 140-4published at 14 overs

Jack Leaning is the new batsman is the new batsman and is under way with a single. Matt Parkinson finishes his spell with a full toss which Shaun Marsh despatches for four, but his final figures of 4-23 are excellent.

  9. wicket

WICKET Sarfraz (c Croft b Parkinson 3)published at 13.3 overs

    Yorkshire 134-4 (13.3 overs)

Matt Parkinson's final over and Sarfraz Ahmed and Shaun Marsh takes singles from the first two deliveries. Sarfraz comes down the wicket to the next one and lofts it towards long-on where Steven Croft dives full length to take a superb catch. All four wickets now for the young Lancashire leggie.

  10. Yorkshire 132-3published at 13 overs

Yorkshire would have been looking for 200+ after the start they made, but they need to be sensible now. Sarfraz Ahmed tries a risky single and would have been gone if keeper Jos Buttler's throw had hit the stumps at the bowler's end.

Arron Lilley appeals for leg-before against Shaun Marsh but it's missing leg and he then gets away with a long hop to Sarfraz, which the Pakistan batsman can only club to deep extra cover for one..

  11. South group updatepublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

The games down south started at 19:00. Here's how they're getting on.

    • Gloucestershire are 88-3 at the halfway stage against Sussex Sharks. Phil Mustard smashed 43, but has been dismissed.
    • Hampshire are doing well to restrict Kent Spitfires so far. Sam Northeast and Sam Billings are at the crease though, with the score at 75-2 from 11.4 overs.
    • Essex Eagles are 96-3 from 10.3 overs, with Ravi Bopara and Ashar Zaidi rebuilding after Adam Wheater's 43 got them going against Middlesex.

  12. Yorkshire 126-3published at 12 overs

Yorkshire's two overseas players, Shaun Marsh and Sarfraz Ahmed, are now together in the middle. Sarfraz tries to chop one away but the ball fizzes past the outside edge. A confident lbw appeal follows as the ball turns from leg to off, but the umpire says no. Three for 15 so far for Parkinson. Most impressive.

  13. wicket

WICKET Willey (c Lilley b Parkinson) 18published at 19:39 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    Yorkshire 125-3 (11.2 overs)

David Willey tries to smash Matt Parkinson into row Z but it's an ugly smear and an outside edge only brings him two runs. Discretion is clearly not the better part of valour for the left-hander as he tries it again from the next ball and picks out Arron Lilley.

  14. 6 runs

    Yorkshire 123-2published at 11 overs

Brute strength by David Willey as he hoists spinner Stephen Parry into the crowd at deep mid-wicket. Two balls later and it's an even bigger hit which almost reaches the second tier at long-on. A single down the ground to round things off. 14 from the over.

  15. 'Yorkshire can blast on from here'published at 19:35 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    Richard Blakey
Ex-Yorkshire and England wicketkeeper on BBC Radio 5live

Maybe it's the rain break that's done for him: he's lost some momentum and his muscles were not quite as warm. He went for the big shot down the ground, but wasn't able to time it.

It's a good innings, he's set the Vikings up nicely, but it would have been nice to see him push on.

It's a heck of a platform though - Yorkshire can blast on from here.

  16. WICKET Kohler-Cadmore (c Croft b Parkinson) 45published at 10 overs

    Yorkshire 109-2 (10 overs)

Tom Kohler-Cadmore mis-hits and has to settle for a single at the start of a new Matt Parkinson over. Plenty of noise among the crowd now as David Willey sprints through for one.

Kohler-Cadmore is lucky as an under-edge just misses the leg-stump, but then goes for a big hit down the ground and doesn't get the required distance as Steven Croft managed to avoid a collision with Arron Lilley and takes the catch.

  17. Yorkshire 103-1published at 9 overs

Stephen Parry has the ball following the resumption and David Willey nudges it away for his first run. Tom Kohler-Cadmore can make nothing of the next two but then finds a gap at mid-wicket for two runs, with Ryan McLaren bringing up a spray of water as he slides to make the save.

Kohler-Cadmore takes the total past 100 as he slams it through the covers for four before adding an easy single to mid-on.

  18. North group updatepublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

    • Leicestershire Foxes are going well against Northants Steelbacks. Luke Ronchi has 58, while Mark Cosgrove is unbeaten on 27. They're 121-1 off 12.3 overs.
    • Durham Jets are 122-4 from 16.2 overs, after Tom Latham's 62 against Worcestershire Rapids.
    • Sam Hain (51 not out) and Aaron Thomason (36 not out) are leading the Birmingham Bears' fightback against Notts Outlaws. They are 130-5 from 15.1 overs.
  19. Willey next for Yorkshirepublished at 19:23 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

Latest news from Headingley is that play will re-start at 19:30 if there is no more rain and David Willey is expected to be the new batsman for Yorkshire following Adam Lyth's dismissal before the interruption.

Lancashire will certainly want to see the back of Willey quickly. Last month he made the highest T20 score by a Yorkshire batsman, smashing 118 off 55 balls against Worcestershire Rapids - though it wasn't enough to win them the game.

  20. rain stops play

Yorkshire 95-1published at 19:16 British Summer Time 11 August 2017

The umpires have popped out for a look at Headingley and the groundstaff are starting to peel off the covers. Good news because Yorkshire were firing on all cylinders before the hold-up. If they get back out in the next few minutes, there won't be any reduction in the number of overs.
