"I've worked very hard on my batting in the last couple of years, and every time I get the opportunity I try to take it. It was really bitter the other day, we're still feeling it and it still hurts."

Australia's Delissa Kimmince on TMS: "We lost too many wickets in clumps, Brunt bowled really well into the wicket and Gunn's slower balls were hard to get onto - they had their field set right and we kept hitting to fielders. It'd be disappointing to lose on Tuesday and retain the Ashes - it's better to retain it from winning the series rather than drawing."

England have been clinical from ball one. Danni Wyatt got them off to a great start, other players continued that momentum, they've looked in control and held all their catches.

Ecclestone has had a change of ends, Strano reverse-sweeps and misses. When she does connect, it's only a single to deep mid-wicket, while an umpire sportingly reties Strano's shoelaces between deliveries. Jonassen edges a three to the third man boundary, but the requirement is now 43 from 18 balls. And the Manuka Oval crowd has been announced - it's over 4,000.

Molly Strano is Australia's number 10, it's asking a lot of Jonassen to keep their hopes alive from this position. 47 from 24 balls is the target.

Australia will still feel they can get 10 an over, a boundary an over will help with that. But it's good for England that they've been picking up wickets consistently.

I might have added Tash Farrant to the England squad for these T20s. She was brought over from Perth to warm up with the squad ahead of the Test, and if there was any doubt over Anya Shrubsole, I thought Farrant might have been an option. They're so reliant on Brunt and Shrubsole.

It will take a captain's innings from Rachael Haynes if Australia are to win this - a delicate paddle against Hazell brings her two, while she swipes a four over mid-off. The target is down to 77 from 48 balls, with the required rate creeping over nine-and-a-half runs per over.
