Wyatt hits 100published at 17.5 overs

    Eng 171-4

She's done it! The first England women's player to hit a T20 century!

What a match. Wyatt raises her arms aloft. She's reached her century from 56 balls, with 13 boundaries and two sixes. Well played.

England need eight runs from 12 balls.

Knight run out (Healy) 51 (Eng 169-4)

Out! Heather Knight has run herself out!

Knight wanted a quick single, Wyatt said no, Knight turned but Healy, having collected the ball, had the bails off before the England captain could shove her bat home.

England need 10 runs from 15 balls...

Oh no! Has Knight run herself out? We're going upstairs...

  6. 50 runs

Knight reaches 50published at 17.1 overs

    Eng 169-3

Heather Knight raises her bat as she races through for a quick two to take her to her half-century.

It's been a sparkling partnership between her and Wyatt. They've been the perfect foil for one another.

  7. Eng 167-3published at 17 overs

England need 17 from 21 balls

Jonassen follows up being hit for six with a big shout from lbw, but Knight appears to have got a big chunk of bat on it. Danni Wyatt, on 95, checks her shot and lets a drive roll along the ground safely. That's four, though! Up and over again from Wyatt, and that takes her to 99.

  8. 6 runs

    Eng 162-3published at 16.3 overs

Four! Heather Knight welcomes Jess Jonassen back with a carving cover dive that splits the field and goes careering into the ropes. And that's six! That is such a god shot from Knight. A little shimmy of the feet, a big ol' swing of the arms, and the ball goes flying over extra cover and over the ropes

Someone from the Australia team needs to grab the game by the scruff of the neck.

  10. Eng 152-3published at 16 overs

England need 27 from 24 balls

The century partnership between Knight and Wyatt came up from 58 deliveries. That's some top boshing, even if they have been helped by some bad fielding. Shot! That's pure placement from Knight, cover driving a Schutt slower ball with aplomb. Rachael Haynes looks thoroughly unimpressed as Knight drives at a wide delivery, misses and the ball sneaks past Alyssa Healy for another boundary. And that's another four! Hit hard and flat by Wyatt, and the ball skims past an advancing fielder to reach the boundary. And again! Australia are at a loss!

  12. Eng 132-3published at 15 overs

The highest run chase in women's T20 internationals in 165 back in 2009, by the way. Shot! That is glorious from Wyatt, moving her feet and driving the ball up and over the fielders. She looks to go again but instead a thick outside edge flies over Alyssa Healy for yet anther boundary. The 100 run partnership, fittingly, comes up from a misfield.

When you think about how the first six overs went, you wonder how England have got themselves into this position.

  14. Eng 120-3published at 14 overs

England need 59 runs from 36 balls

Danni Wyatt takes advantage of Australia's hesitancy by hustling to the side and craving a full toss from Molly Strano behind point. Dropped catches aside, this has been excellent work from Wyatt. She plays an even better shot two balls later, coming down the wicket and flat batting the spinner over the close fielders and away to the boundary. 12 runs from the over!

    The crowd has gone quiet.

  16. Eng 106-3published at 13 overs

England need 73 runs from 42 deliveries

Alyssa Healy looked up at the lights after dropping that last catch. Admittedly, all fielders do that when they drop the ball, but I think she struggled to pick the ball up against the lights. Wyatt, meanwhile, recovers from being dropped last over by cracking Delissa Kimmince's second delivery through cover and into the ropes.

Alyssa Healy will be wanting to crawl into a hole. How many chances do Australia want to give England?

  18. dropped catch

Knight dropped on 24published at 12.1 overs

    Eng 98-3

    Wow. WOW.

Alyssa Healy has dropped her scond catch of the innings - and the fourth in about 15 minutes. You should be taking those - a leading edge from Knight, the ball spinning high into the air, Healy sets herself and just lets it burst out of her gloves.

  19. dropped catch

Schutt drops Wyatt on 54published at 12 overs

    Eng 97-3

There's still some nerves there for England, as Knight and Wyatt get a touch muddled with the running, but dearie me. Another drop from Australia!

Wyatt frees her arms, swings the ball down into the deep and Schutt gets underneath it and promptly shells it. Wyatt adds insult to injury by tonking the next ball for a flat six. Ouch.

This has been a really good partnership between Danni Wyatt and Heather Knight.

You get the sense that the momentum has just shifted in England's favour, but can they sustain it?
