  1. Aus 138-2published at 17 overs

Make that 91 to Mooney as she knocks a single off the final ball of the over.

Only three women have made centuries in women's Twenty20 internationals, can Mooney become the fourth?

A very difficult chance. A really good effort from Brunt.

  3. 6 runs

    Aus 137-2published at 16.5 overs

Sarah Taylor nearly adds another remarkable stumping to her collection as she finally gathers one that went between leg stump and Mooney's pads. The Aussie was out of her crease but scrambled back just in time.

Mooney's magic innings almost comes to an end next up, lofting Ecclestone away but Katherine Brunt spills the catch on the boundary and can only parry it over the ropes for six.

Mooney escapes and moves onto 90.

You can't afford width against Beth Mooney, especially when she's in this form and you don't have a fielder on the cover boundary.

  6. Aus 127-2published at 16 overs

    Mooney 81, Perry 7

Beth Mooney has a full locker of shots. The Aussie opener batters Jenny Gunn over cover, hitting back-to-back boundaries as she walks across her stumps to pull a short delivery over square leg.

    Time for a century?

  7. Aus 115-2published at 15 overs

Beth Mooney finally mistimes a stroke, slicing away Katherine Brunt - but crucially over the head of Fran Wilson at point.

Another lofted shot has Brunt briefly shouting for a catch but it falls short of Tammy Beaumont and Mooney moves to 71.

Brunt slides one down leg - Sarah Taylor does brilliantly to grab it, but it's duly signalled a wide before Ellyse Perry dabs a single to finish.

Is there a shot in the coaching manual that Beth Mooney has not played so far tonight?

  9. Aus 109-2published at 09:02 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

    Mooney 68, Perry 3

    Beth Mooney is on one.

Heather Knights continues in vain - the second ball battered past Jenny Gunn at long on for four.

A couple more runs and then Mooney executes a delicious paddle shot over short fine leg to find the fence again.

The hosts have motored beyond 100 with six overs still remaining.

  10. 'England need to jump in'published at 08:59 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

This is where England really need to jump in. They've pegged Australia back with two quick wickets, and Perry is on the back of two low scores.

If they get another wicket, England will be right back in it.

  11. Aus 97-2published at 13 overs

Dani Hazell returns to the fray and delivers a very tidy over, just three from it.

Nervy moments for Ellyse Perry too as she flicks one fine down leg but England keeper Sarah Taylor can't get there.

  12. Aus 94-2published at 12 overs

    Mooney 56, Perry 1

Ellyse Perry strides out to the middle and eases it away to get off the mark with a single.

  13. 'Clarity not there for Villani'published at 08:55 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

    Mel Jones
Former Australia batter on BBC Test Match Special

Sometimes when you're not in form, your gameplan is not set.

She tried to cut a ball that has hit her leg stump. The clarity is not quite there for Elyse Villani.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.5 overs

    Villani b Ecclestone 16 (Aus 93-2)

Mooney carves the first ball of Ecclestone's over away for four before the Aussie pair exchange singles.

All looking too easy for both - that is until Ecclestone gets one to keep a bit low and skid through Elyse Villani's defences, clattering into leg stump.

Villani was looking to cut that but it was far too close to her legs. Crucial breakthrough for England.

  15. Aus 86-1published at 11 overs

Villani thwacks Knight straight back down the ground for four. Belting hit that. The hosts are tucking into every England bowler.

Can anyone stop the runs flowing?

  16. 50 runs

50 for Mooneypublished at 08:50 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

    Aus 82-1

Mooney and Villani exchange a couple of singles before the former brings up a stellar half century with a nudge down the ground.

That's her second fifty in Twenty20 internationals - a dominant performance so far.

    Cheers, Amy.

Here's England skipper Heather Knight, the latest bowler to try and halt Beth Mooney...

Right, that's me done for a bit. Here's Jack Skelton to take you through the business end of things.

  19. Aus 78-1published at 10 overs

    Villani 9, Mooney 48

Katherine Brunt is going to continue and she tries that slower ball trick again, but Elyse Villani is wise to it. She waits patiently before thudding the ball away for a single. Brunt lets out a furious noise as Beth Mooney looks to steer her through backward point again, but a fielder comes charging round to cut the ball off. Brunt stomps back to her mark, takes a breath and serves up something short that Mooney absolutely wallops for a one-bounce four.

  20. 'Big top edge'published at 08:44 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

    Charlotte Edwards
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

Elyse Villani meant to sweep the ball, but got a big top edge. It just went over Tammy Beaumont's head. A slightly taller fielder might have caught it.

That is what you need when you are not in good nick. You need those things to fall for you.
