The players are back out on the pitch. We've got another couple of hours to go yet. Predictions?
By the looks of things, James Anderson will continue bowling, with Peter Handscomb in his sights.
You might have seen earlier that there was a marriage proposal in the pool deck at the Gabba.
Michael proposed to Tori, and told Test Match Special: "I've been planning this for about three months. I've been obsessed with the Ashes since I was born and I wanted to share that wtih Tori here."
Tori adds: "I was in too much shock to actually say anything, so I just nodded. I left him hanging, but I think he assumed it was okay!"

Carl Carritt: I’m getting about on crutches due to a snapped Achilles, and let me tell you, sneaking downstairs to listen to TMS is no easy feat. I got a telling off yesterday for being too noisy, it could be the story of my ashes
There's still plenty of time left in this Test, of course, but Australia might be casting an eye over the current Sheffield Shield scores.
Glenn Maxwell, who was drafted into the squad as very late injury cover for David Warner and Shaun Marsh, has just made a century, batting at three for Victoria.
Arriving with Victoria 9-1, Maxwell compiled a century, and he's still there at tea with an unbeaten 124.

Cheers, Jack. A solid effort.
Well. That was rather good for England, wasn't it? If they can shift Steve Smith next...
And as the players stride off for a refreshment, that's my cue to do the same.
Amy Lofthouse is back to guide you through tea and the first half of the final session.
I'll see you later for the close.
Smith 19, Handscomb 14
Handscomb has a high backlift that he brings down swiftly, playing late and running it off the face for a boundary through third man.
An ugly-looking wide one from Ball is cut away by Handscomb - it doesn't reach the fence but this huge Gabba outfield allows him to run four.
More runs as Handscomb punches through the covers for another three. A flurry of scoring just before tea.
Short ball to finish that Smith easily ducks. Bit of an anti-climactic end to an otherwise belting session.

Billy Burton: *whispers quietly* 'It's actually going alright, isn't it'?!
England put in a leg slip for Smith as Anderson continues. Cagey stuff as the Aussie skipper looks to flick off his pads but it just dribbles along the ground to the aforementioned leg slip.
Five dot balls but another maiden denied by Smith clipping down leg for a couple.
Looks England are going to target Smith's pads for a bit. Though the next over should be the last before tea.

It sounds strange but there was a little bit of a momentum change with Stuart Broad scoring those runs at the end of the innings. It just shifted things. I've seen enough in two days that I look at Australia - there are a lot of cracks you can see in their team.
Smith 17, Handscomb 3
Ball builds the pressure with four dot balls before Handscomb misses out on a short, wide one, bottom edging it and perhaps fortunate not to divert it stumpwards.
Tidy finish from Ball to secure a maiden, the second in a row for England.

Joe Root is ticking a lot of boxes on this tour. On the build-up to this first Test, he was calmness personified, neither he or his troops getting sucked into the Aussie chat. Now, his plans are working. Khawaja done by an early look at Moeen, Warner popping a catch to short mid-wicket. Game on.
Anderson sets Smith in his sights but the Aussie skipper is equal to the task, calmly playing out a maiden over.
Debate in the office over which was the worst shot of the day (and probably the Test):
Chris Woakes' woeful thrash to get bowled through the gate or David Warner's brainless clip straight to short mid-wicket?
Consensus is Warner. Shocking lack of judgement from a Test opener to pop a catch straight to a man who is there just for that reason.

Still 15 minutes or so to go until tea and we've had nine wickets in total on day two. Cracking Test, this.
James Anderson returns to the attack. Here he was picking his weapon of choice earlier...
Ball 2-0-9-1
Lovely back-foot punch from Handscomb first up to get off the mark with three runs through point.
Smith adds another single but a huge over for England and for Ball, who picks up his first Ashes wicket.

That couldn't have happened to a nicer fella. Well done, Jake Ball!
