Josh Hazlewood's middle name is Reginald, which is a superb and vastly underused name. James Anderson dishes out a payback bouncer to Pat Cummins, who fends it off, before he works a single away. Hazlewood gets rapped on the glove by Anderson, who surprises him with a delivery that bounces up on him, before he awkwardly knocks a single to mid-wicket.

That is James Anderson's 25th five-wicket haul and his fifth against Australia.
Anderson is now second overall for England in terms of five-wicket hauls behind Ian Botham, who has 27. He has just passed Sydney Barnes' 24.
Anderson has played 131 Tests, Botham played 102 and Barnes 27.
As great as Anderson's five-for has been, it feels like a missed opportunity for England. Just think what could have happened on that first day if they'd bowled the right lengths... Josh Hazlewood, smartly, gets off strike straight away, before Pat Cummins misses a swipe at Chris Woakes. That's short from Woakes and Cummins pops it into the air, but there's no short leg, despite Woakes' best effort as he comes tearing across to try and grab it. Cummins swings hard at the final ball of the over, and gets it over Jonny Bairstow's head and away for three.

Regardless of how the run chase goes, England can take a lot from this. They can start walking around Australia a little bit taller.

It's been a thoroughly impressive performance by Anderson. He was superb under the lights last night, getting the ball to swing and befuddle a few of the Australia batsmen.
The England fans are on their feet and cheering him on as he spears a few short balls in to Pat Cummins, who defends and rips his hand out of the way to stop him getting a rap on the knuckles. A final short ball stops Cummins rotating the strike, which means Josh Hazlewood will have to face Chris Woakes.
James Anderson looks genuinely delighted as he raises the ball to the Barmy Army. It's his first Test five-for in Australia and the 25th of his career.
He's currently got figures of 20.2-7-40-5.

It has been brilliant bowling from Anderson.
Starc c Moeen b Anderson 20 (Aus 128-9)
Five wickets for James Anderson!
It's a big old slog from Mitch Starc to a cutter and Moeen, wandering in at cover, judges it well to take the catch.

Not what you need when you're heading out to bat, an idiot journalist sticking a phone in your face. A quirk of the ground means that incoming batsmen emerge from the pavilion, but those dismissed disappear down the tunnel.

James Anderson's had a change of trousers and a swig of water. He seems fine. He's never taken five wickets in an innings in Australia, which may have influenced him to go charging up the crease at that speed. Chris Woakes continues to Pat Cummins, who defends and then defends some more. He plays an extravagant cut at the final ball of the over, and misses. Anderson, meanwhile, makes his way back on to the field...
Phil Tufnell
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
Anderson will be livid with that. He did all of the hard work. He catches most things that go his way.
Anderson's going off the field. He did rip his trousers, mind.

Anderson should have held onto that really.
Aus 126-8
James Anderson has dropped a catch, and done himself a mischief in the process!
Starc tries to turn a ball off his hip, gets a big edge up into the air, and Anderson comes charging up the wicket. Starc gets out of his way, Anderson dives and gets a hand to it - and spills it! He then slides into the stumps and clutches his thigh. He seems fine, and he made good ground to get to the ball, but he should have hung on to that.
The tailenders are in, which means Moeen's off. Here's James Anderson.
Lead by 338
A leading edge for Pat Cummins first up, and third slip dives to cut the ball off. There's extra bounce again for Woakes and Cummins fends the ball away from his body with the top of the bat. A flick off the hip gets Cummins his first run. There's some warm applause for Chris Woakes from the England contingent in the crowd.
Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
Marsh hasn't done that in the whole series. His head fell across to the off side and he has missed a straight one.
Here's Pat Cummins. Time for some boshing?
Marsh b Woakes 19 (Aus 122-8)
Bowled him!
That was full from Chris Woakes, and Shaun Marsh has missed it. He played across the line and his stumps have been rearranged as a result. That's the only real time he's missed a shot in this innings. That's four wickets for Woakes.
