Roy 73, Root 26
Eek. Stoinis bends his back and Roy can't connect cleanly with the pull shot, just about chipping it over the retreating Starc at mid-on.
Roy gets off strike with a controlled slice to third man, before Root taps into leg for one.
A better pull from Roy this time, rolling it out to the deep fielder for one. And that'll be drinks.

This is where Joe Root is so good. He is 25 off 27 balls and hasn't taken a risk.
Need 191 more to win
Root tucks off his pads for two, before four straight singles, with the England pair manipulating the field nicely.
A tidy start for Zampa.

This is a big game for Adam Zampa. He is under pressure because Nathan Lyon has done so well in the Ashes.
Here comes leg-spinner Adam Zampa into the attack.
He usually wears a headband under a blond mop but has had a fair old trim.
Tye continues and both Jason Roy and Joe Root are happy to nudge and nurdle the ball into the outfield to accumulate runs. Five of them come in the over with little danger.
The England run-rate is still way over seven and the runs requires dips under 200 for the first time.

England are rebuilding. They lost two wickets after that outstandingly quick start and now Root and Roy are just trying to get a partnership together.
Roy drives square for a single that sees England bring up 100 in the 14th over. Those two wickets have checked the scoring but the tourists have made a fine start to this chase.
A nervy moment for Root as he slices it away past gully, trying to guide it to third man.
Roy jabs another short ball into leg for one, before Root does the same.

Andrew Tye's variations are outstanding but at this level the question is, is his stock ball good enough?
Target 305
Roy punches nicely down the ground and scampers a quick single.
Tye showing a few nice variations, sending down an off-cutter and a sort of knuckle ball slower ball.
Another good change of pace to finish, Root chipping out to cover for no run.
Roy 61, Root 16
Stoinis nags away on a tight line and length, with Roy and Root settling for a couple of singles and a two.
England successfully chased down 350 to beat New Zealand that day...
Need 212 more to win
Root jabs a cut shot square for one, before Roy glances round the corner for two.
Tye isn't quick enough to hurry either batsman, but the lack of pace coming onto the bat also can make him harder to hit away.
England keep things ticking along nicely though, picking up six off the over.

Roy got lucky there. He had a good old waft.
Target 305
Medium pace, too full on the pads and Root glances it away square for four. A lovely, deft shot.
A tad shorter and Root works it round the corner for two, before deflecting down to third man for one.
Ooof, Roy flirts at one outside off, edging it wide of Paine for four. Streaky but yet another boundary for Roy.
All-rounder Marcus Stoinis is into the attack. He made a crucial, quick 60 earlier - what can he do with the ball?

John Newman: Let’s all keep it positive for England today. Oz were in the same position. Time for Root and co to step up.
Eng 76-2
Tight, wicket-to-wicket stuff from Tye to start, stopping Roy from getting him away.
Roy then leaves one outside off, prepared to look at the new man for now.
And that's all the looking Roy needs, advancing down the pitch to flick it away through mid-wicket for four.
That's 50 for Roy off just 32 balls. Cracking start - can he kick on?
Here comes Andrew Tye, making his ODI debut at 31.
He claimed three hat-tricks in Twenty20 cricket in 2017, including one on debut in the IPL.
