That's all for nowpublished at 17:34 British Summer Time 16 April 2018
Most of the excitement was packed into the first session of the final day in our opening round of County Championship matches.
Hampshire completed an ultimately comfortable win over Worcestershire, but in dramatic scenes at Old Trafford, Notts lost four wickets in scoring just 10 to beat Lancashire, who themselves slumped from their overnight 58-2 to 73 all out.
The loss of four complete days at Headingley for Yorkshire and Essex was a major talking point, while in Division Two, Gloucestershire saw off Kent at Canterbury and Warwickshire drew with Sussex.
Top individual performances on the day came from Notts pace bowler Harry Gurney, who took 6-25, and Sussex all-rounder David Wiese, scorer of the Championship's first century of the summer.
We'll be back at about 10:30 BST on Friday to do it all over again with a full quota of nine matches. Thanks for reading over the past four days.
