I think the reason Stoinis came in was to keep it a left and right-hander, because Moeen is very good at bowling to left-handers.

I think the reason Stoinis came in was to keep it a left and right-hander, because Moeen is very good at bowling to left-handers.
Shaun Marsh, who has two hundreds in this series, is the new man at the crease, and pats Moeen's final delivery safely away.
A fine over from Moeen: 1-0-2-2.

It was just outside off stump, slightly tossed up. He bowls a nice length, where a batsman can't step out to meet it. The sweep was top-edged. Stoinis has had a stinker.
Stoinis b Moeen c Ball 0 (Aus 60-2)
Two in the over for Moeen!
That's... not particularly clever from Marcus Stoinis. He gets down on one knee and aims a huge heave at his second delivery from Moeen. A top edge pops up into the air and Jake Ball, comfortably the tallest man on the pitch, settles himself for an easy catch at short fine leg.
Marcus Stoinis is in at three for Australia.

It's just short of a length and skidded on to him a bit. It went under the bat. It's done him for pace off the pitch. Moeen Ali, in English conditions, looks a million dollars.
Finch b Moeen 22 (Aus 60-1)
A breakthrough for England!
It's a decent delivery from Moeen, pushed through flatter and quicker, and Aaron Finch gets beaten for pace. The ball sneaks under the bottom of the bat as Finch shapes to pull, and clatters into the stumps.
An lbw appeal against Aaron Finch as he shapes to sweep, but there's not a flicker of interest from the umpire. It looks as though it's trailing down the leg side.
Some top boshing by Australia this morning.
Moeen is replacing Joe Root, who saw his first over go sailing away for 13 runs.
Aus 58-0
Is that a drop? Jake Ball thinks it is.
Aaron Finch tries to turn a ball around the corner but it beats him for pace and Sam Curran, diving forward at short fine leg, gets a hand to it. It looks like it might have dropped short but Ball can barely look, turning his back on Curran as he gathers the ball.
Oh, that's a glorious shot from Travis Head, punching Jake Ball's third delivery through cover for another delicious four.
A hustle off the hip brings him a single.
We've had a change of ends for Jake Ball.

England need to re-assess here. They need to get their best bowlers on because the Aussies are teeing off - they're going after every delivery. They are in Twenty20 mode.
No knocking it around for Australia today - that's naother six for Aaron Finch!
He gives himself room to clatter Joe Root back over his head for another six. That brings up Australia's 50, too.
Up and over by Travis Head, who gets his feet into a tangle, and Alex Hales does well to run round on the boundary and keep it to two.
That's four, though, short and dragged down from Root, and Head almost does the splits as he carves it through mid-wicket.
After four overs, England are bringing Joe Root on.

"Anything that's up, that's off", will be Finch's mantra.
If you'd like to know how good this pitch is, then Aaron Finch has just mishit a six.
He's trying to go back down the ground but instead he gets a leading edge that goes high over deep square leg and flies into the crowd, where a fella shells the catch.
A single brings Aaron Finch back on strike, and he can't resist a swish at a wide delivery from Sam Curran.
That'll be four, though, Finch standing tall and clobbering Curran back down the ground for a boundary.
Aaron Finch is off the mark, turning his wrists on a leggy delivery and crunching it down towards the boundary.
Plenty of runs in this pitch...
