That is a horrible, horrible moment for Agar.
Agar b Curran 0 (Aus 159-7)
GONE!
That is a complete misjudgment from Ashton Agar! Dearie me. He leaves his second delivery from Sam Curran that pitches on a length, and the ball thwacks into middle and off stump, wrenching both of them out of the ground.
If we're being kind to Agar there was maybe a hint of swing on that, but that is awful from Agar.
Ashton Agar is at the crease.
If Australia want to be super nice, they'll collapse inside the next 20 minutes and let us watch the first half of the football.

He was trying to run it to third man and got a feather through to Buttler, who is having a tremendous day behind the stumps. The ball didn't do anything.
Carey c Buttler b Curran 44 (Aus 159-6)
What a way to come back into the attack! A maiden ODI wicket for Sam Curran!
Slightly short from Curran and Alex Carey can't resist the temptation. He has a little push forward and ends up getting a thin edge through to Jos Buttler. Curran goes wheeling away in celebration.
Sam Curran is back into the attack.
Dragged down from Adil Rashid, and Alex Carey sweeps him nicely for four.
This is a decent little partnership for Australia, putting on 59 runs inside 9.5 overs.

Australia had an explosive start. The pitch is a beauty, the outfield is quick. You thought it would be 350. A sign of a team without much confidence is that when one wicket goes, a few go.
And a four to end the over from Alex Carey, as Joe Root drags the ball down and Carey pummels it through mid-wicket.
Shot!
That's in the slot from Joe Root, a touch too full, and Alex Carey stands and thuds the ball back over Root's head and into the sightscreen. Lovely stuff.

Eoin Morgan isn't much of an armwaver, but he's not having to marshal this team at all. They are doing it themselves. That's the sign of a great team.
Oh! Australia very nearly add another comedy run out to their innings.
The batsmen run a single and then turn for a second. D'Arcy Short says "yes," Alex Carey says "no," and Carey has to turn and dive to make his ground as the ball comes whizzing back in towards the bowlers end.

D'Arcy Short bends his knees and sweeps Adil Rashid for a single, before Alex Carey gets a touch confused by the googly.
Short picks the googly, plonking his foot forward to drive, but he doesn't quite connect with the ball and it bounces just in front of an advancing Jake Ball.

It's been decent rebuilding form this pair, taking it steady. The run-rate is still above six an over, but those five wickets could be costly.
Short 14, Carey 24
What I like about Joe Root is that there's no messing around.
He skips in, bowls, jogs back to his mark, gets hold of the ball, and goes again. None of this fiddling around with the field for hours on end.
More spin for Australia to contend with - here's Joe Root.

Phil Evans: Anyone know what Australia's results are like for June in all team sports?
Adil Rashid has been brought into the attack for the first time today. He mixes up his lengths nicely, and Australia can only work two runs from the other. There's a long chat between Buttler and Rashid at the end of the over.
According to a stat that's just flashed up, Australia average 24.86 against spin bowlers in this series.
