I've never heard a reaction to a maiden in a one-day game. Everyone is on their feet clapping and cheering.

Tim Paine, for the final ball of the over, spreads his field a little.

Unsurprisingly, Jake Ball completely ignores the temptation, and gets a standing ovation from the crowd.

Jos Buttler will be on strike.

    Dearie me!

Ashton Agar skittles his first delivery just past the outside edge of Jake Ball's bat. That wasn't far off at all.

    JOS BUTTLER!

Buttler stands still and hoicks Marcus Stoinis back over his head for six. What an incredible innings. It's been his slowest in one day cricket, he was running out of partners left, right and centre earlier, but he's taken England within touching distance of victory.

The batsmen did cross, so Jos Buttler is on strike.

Spare a thought for Jake Ball, who looked incredibly nervous a few minutes ago.

    Rashid c Stanlake b Stoinis 20 (Eng 195-9)

OH! A final twist in the tale...?

That is a superb catch from Billy Stanlake. It's a leading edge from Adil Rashid as he tries to turn his wrists on Marcus Stoinis' latests delivery. It's a cutter, too, and he ends up spooning the ball up into the air. Stanlake comes running round to fine leg, has to take a second to adjust himself, and then throws all of his huge frame onto the floor to take the catch.

It's good play from England - they've still got 30 balls to knock off these runs. Just do it in ones now.

    Nicely done, Adil Rashid.

After a brief word from Jos Buttler, Rashid defends his way through an Ashton Agar maiden.

Jos Buttler cracks the ball towards the man at extra cover but it bounces awkwardly, and Buttler takes the opportunity to jog a single.

Justin Langer, watching from behind a laptop, is shaking his head. Not impressed.
