Four!
Four for Jos Buttler! That takes him to 96.
What an performance this has been. There's swing for Marcus Stoinis, but Buttler shuffles out of his crease and flicks his wrists to work his 11th four.

Australia have got to squeeze Adil Rashid - there's no point just giving him singles.
Marcus Stoinis is back on, and Adil Rashid bunts a single to get Jos Buttler back on strike.

Poor old Jake Ball, the number 11, will be feeling it.
Need 19 from 42 balls
Adil Rashid gets a huge round of applause as he gets a single from the final ball of the over.
Jos Buttler, on 92, has called for a drink.
James Anderson
England bowler on BBC Test Match Special
It's been a really responsible innings from Jos Buttler. This side have made huge strides in the last few years, but perhaps they've lacked the finisher. Jos Buttler is someone who could turn himself into that sort of player.
Buttler 91, Rashid 17
Leisurely singles for Buttler and Rashid, as Ashton Agar begins another older.
That's short, though, and only a terrific dive on the boundary stops Buttler's furious drive going for four.

Listen to that noise - those fans are having a tremendous time.
Need 25 from 48 balls
Four! That's a glorious drive from Jos Buttler, cracking Kane Richardson through the covers, and two fielders end up escorting the ball over the ropes. He works a single to get to 88 not out.
This is England's highest ninth-wicket partnership in ODIs against Australia.
Kane Richardson is continuing, the sun is shining, Sweet Caroline is echoing around Old Trafford. It all feels very summery.
A huge cheer goes up as Adil Rashid gets a thick outside edge to Richardson's latest delivery, and Jos Buttler pushes him hard to get him to run three. This has been terrific stuff from Buttler.

I'd really like a slip in place - it's worth the risk.
Need 33 runs from 54 balls
There's a half-chance for Ashton Agar to take a caught and bowled, Jos Buttler bunting a full delivery back down the ground, but it's hit so hard that Agar can't get a hand to it.

I thought Australia had this, but now I'm beginning to wonder...
Four, but only just for Jos Buttler!
He opens the face of the bat and ends up ticking the ball agonisingly fine, through where a slip fielder normally would stand, and away for a boundary.
Ashton Agar, who dismissed Jason Roy in the first over of the innings, is coming back into the attack.
England need 206...

Need 39 from 60 balls
That is a wonderful stroke from Buttler. Batting out of his crease and taking a further step down the pitch, he eases Kane Richardson wide of mid-off for four with the minimum of effort. The fifty partnership is up.
A single off the final ball as Buttler keeps the strike. England edging towards their target here...
This makes me chuckle.
Need 45 from 66 balls
Nathan Lyon, into his last over, gets gently nurdled around for a hat-trick of singles.
Lyon finishes with 0-32 from his 10 overs.
