It's been a good knock. England have been in all sorts of trouble, and he's been the one cool, calm head - he just needs someone to stay with him.

Does Buttler stick or twist? It'll be interesting to see which way he plays it.

    Eng 121-8

An edge from Jos Buttler, but it's enough to take him to his half-century!

He drives at Kane Richardson and a leading edge beats Tim Paine and races away for four. That's his first boundary since the resumption.

  7. Eng 117-8published at 31.1 overs

Jos Buttler, on 48, jogs two, the crowd start to applaud his half-century - and the umpire spoils the fun by calling them as leg byes.

  10. Eng 115-8published at 31 overs

    Need 91 from 114 balls

Big swing and a miss from Jos Buttler, chasing a full delivery from Stanlake. Buttler then comes down the pitch and pulls a bouncy delivery for a single.

    Tight stuff, this, from Australia.

  12. Eng 114-8published at 30 overs

Adil Rashid sees out the over. England need 92 from 120 balls if they're going to win this series 5-0.

Billy Stanlake is coming back to try and get rid of the tail.

  14. Eng 114-8published at 29.5 overs

    Hat-trick ball from Kane Richardson.

Full, straight, a bit of movement back in to Adil Rashid - and Rashid blocks it.

That ball swung away but it's so wide. That's a really poor shot - with Buttler at the other end. Give him the chance.

    Plunkett c Paine b Richardson 0 (Eng 114-8)

Gone! First ball! Kane Richardson is on a hat-trick!

That is a stupendous catch from Tim Paine. It's thrown wider by Richardson, with maybe a hint of swing, and Liam Plunkett just can't resist. He has a huge swing at it, gets a thick outside edge and Paine leaps to his right to take a smart catch, getting both hands under the ball as he falls to the ground.

Liam Plunkett has strolled out to try and keep Jos Buttler company for a bit.
