Joe Root was next to go. He scored just 14 and fell into the most obvious of traps...
There was talk of England batting out the day at the start of play. Now I'm not sure whether the match will last the day.
Keaton Jennings was out in the day's fifth over...
The current players in that team, Joe Root, James Anderson and Alastair Cook, have joined the rest on the outfield.
Root is doing his best to smile for the camera but I think it might be a struggle.

Over on TMS, Jonathan Agnew is on the outfield at Edgbaston. Out there as well are many of the players who have been voted as England's all-time greatest Test XI.
The team is: Cook, Hutton, Gower, Pietersen, Root, Botham, Knott, Swann, Trueman, Anderson and Willis.
There is going to be a ceremony for the players who have been able to attend and Aggers is going to try and catch a word with them.

Thanks Jack. Go and calm down.
The first two days were even with England failing to take their chances and we were left unsure which way this match would go.
This morning's session has seen the pendulum swing fully in India's favour.
Reasons to be cheerful for England fans? Not many, other than India do have to bat last on this pitch. And James Anderson, Ben Stokes and Sam Curran all look in fine bowling form. And can Adil Rashid use all that furore over his call up as inspiration?
There might be some straw clutching going on there.
Anyway, Matt Henry will take you through lunch and the second session.
I'll be back for what might end up being the final session of this Test match.

It's almost like dropping Virat Kohli twice was a really terrible idea.
I'm genuinely running out of ways to describe England's collapses now.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Ishant Sharma have been superb, the former exploiting a turning pitch, the latter bowling an immaculate line, with just enough nibble to threaten.
But there have been some odd approaches by England's batsmen - Joe Root flicking round the corner with a leg slip in place, Jonny Bairstow backing to leg so that he is edging inswingers, Keaton Jennings playing out in front of his body etc etc.

Ishant Sharma's line has been like Freddie Flintoff bowling to Adam Gilchrist. It is very difficult to face because you can't leave.

Wow, this game is going to finish today. Is this the first time a Test match will be finished before the weekend?

On taking that catch, Virat Kohli blew another kiss high in our direction, just like he did when he reached three figures yesterday. Anushka must be here again.

And the over is not over yet, Simon.
With no time for Sam Curran to make it to the crease before the interval, lunch is taken.
Ishant Sharma will have two balls straight after lunch. At this rate, you wouldn't be surprised if he takes a hat-trick.

That is a brilliant over from Ishant Sharma.

Virat Kohli has been everywhere in the last few days. Ishant Sharma really got the ball moving.
India have shown England how to catch in the slips. The fielding has been the difference. The run-out in the first innings, England's drops and then India's catching today.
Stokes c Kohli b Ishant 6 (Eng 86-6)
England are crumbling.
It's another superb delivery from Ishant Sharma to the left-hander from round the wicket, the shape away catching the outside edge of Ben Stokes' bat.
Virat Kohli had moved himself into third slip, where there was a gap before, and it proves a shrewd call, the India captain taking a fine catch, low to his left.
An utter catastrophe of a morning for England but excellent from India.

Huge blow for England just before lunch. It was a good bit of bowling. India have had a habit of just taking wickets at good times.
Jos Buttler survives, shuffling across and clipping into leg for one.

Jos Buttler has one pair in first-class cricket against Kent in 2010.
Here comes Jos Buttler, on a pair...
Bairstow c Dhawan b Ishant 28 (Eng 85-5)
Shikhar Dhawan is certain about this one!
Jonny Bairstow continues his curious tactic of staying leg side of every Ishant Sharma delivery he can and it proves his undoing.
Ishant bowls a fine inswinger but Bairstow is prodding out at it, the ball catching the edge and flying to Dhawan.
He wasn't sure about that one off Dawid Malan but the India opener comes straight up to signal that was a clean catch and Bairstow has to go.
