So what are your predictions? Who are you backing and why?

Have you got any superstitions or had any premonitions?

I dreamt that Hardik Pandya hit the winning runs through mid-wicket last night.

There has been a lot of talk about the Ashes match on this ground in 2005.

That day Australia needed 107 runs but with only two wickets in hand.

We couldn't get something similar, could we?

I like Sam Curran's energy. You worry young players won't be ready or be able to cope with the spectacle but he and his brother Tom love this stage.

You can look too much at technique in cricket - it often comes down to your cricket brain - can you figure it out, play the right shots, bowl the right balls?

Curran thinks like a batsman when he bowls, it helps being a decent batsman when you bowl like that.

He's been a great selection - I do think he'll end up batting six and being the fourth seam bowler in this England team.

Then it was over to the bowlers. Stuart Broad got the ball rolling. Just listen to that Edgbaston crowd. More of the same today?

At midday yesterday it looked as though England would not get to this stage.

The game looked done when they fell to 87-7 with a lead of just 100.

But 20-year-old Sam Curran showed impressive character to keep Joe Root's side alive with his maiden Test fifty.

This is huge. If England go 1-0 down, it's going to be difficult. There's going to be changes at Lord's, where they've not got a great record. But if India lose, they've sometimes thrown the towel in.

  7. We'll dream of dismissing Kohli - Andersonpublished at 10:41 British Summer Time 4 August 2018

"We'll go to bed dreaming about getting Kohli out first thing."

Those were the words of England bowler James Anderson last night.

I wonder how it played out in his head. Top of off stump knocked back? Edged to Dawid Malan at second slip? Trapped plumb in front lbw?

England fans will be hoping he's found some inspiration from somewhere.

Getting Virat Kohli out is the key. If he bats for an hour, it's over. England have got to be very disciplined, and they've got to be very positive.

Never has so much seemingly rested on the shoulders of one man.

India's captain Virat Kohli, probably the world's best batsman, is still at the crease. He is unbeaten on 43.

Before this match there were doubts about whether the biggest star in world cricket could play in English conditions. He has banished those claims now.

In the first innings he scored a magnificent 149 to drag his team to a good total and now is standing firm, looking like he wants the challenge of seeing his team home.

Kohli has scored 50% of India's runs in this Test. If England get him do they win the match?

Hello again. Three enthralling days of Test cricket have led to this.

The match is on a knife edge. England need five wickets to win. They have the best batsman in the world Virat Kohli and the Indian lower order standing in their way.

India need just 84 runs. It's sure to be tense.

    Five wickets.

    Or 84 runs.

This brilliant Test match has the finale it deserves.
