  1. Hampshire 48-1published at 9 overs

    Rossouw 20, Vince 10

Yorkshire are just pulling things back a little after that fast start from Hampshire's openers.

Five come from Matt Fisher's fifth over including a pull shot for three from Rilee Rossouw.

The outfield at the Ageas Bowl is huge and the outfield slow - maybe that will make run-scoring a little more difficult.

  2. Hampshire 44-1published at 8 overs

    Rossouw 17, Vince 9

    Shot Rilee!

The South African biffs Ben Coad through the off side for four.

Coad keeps it tight for the rest of the over though and only concedes another single.

It feels like a fairly even start after that wicket.

Ralph Brooker: Hampshire fan seriously worried about our County Championship prospects in Div 1. But I’m going against James Taylor. Hants cricket to go through to the final on penalties. Oh no, it’s not is it!

  4. Hampshire 39-1published at 7 overs

    Rossouw 12, Vince 9

James Vince is such a good player to watch.

The Hampshire captain punches Matt Fisher to the point boundary and finishes the over by timing him off his legs for another four. Terrific batting.

  5. 'Good start from Yorkshire'published at 6.1 overs

    Hampshire 31-1

    Charlotte Edwards
Ex-England captain on BBC 5 live sports extra

Change of approach there by Ben Coad coming round the wicket and the catch from Tom Kohler-Cadmore who has juggled it but managed to keep it in.

    A good start from Yorkshire.

  6. Hampshire 31-1published at 6 overs

    Rossouw 12, Vince 1

James Vince is the new man in. He's been in decent touch in this competition, scoring 333 runs at an average of just under 50.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 5.4 overs

    Adams c Kohler-Cadmore b Coad 16 (Hampshire 30-1)

    Gone!

Ben Coad gets one to bounce into Jimmy Adams and he edges the ball to Tom Kohler-Cadmore at slip.

It's a juggling act from the fielder, but he clings on. It was the extra bounce that seemed to deceive him. Adams is on his way.

  8. Hampshire 30-0published at 5 overs

    Adams 16, Rossouw 12

Matt Fisher, one of Yorkshire's heroes in the play-off win over Essex, is now bowling really well after conceding 10 off his first.

Just a single comes from his third.

  9. 'Hoping for Hampshire to get to Lord's'published at 4 overs

    Hampshire 29-0

    Charlotte Edwards
Ex-England captain on BBC 5 live sports extra

I am wary of Yorkshire because there are low expectations of them, but I am hoping Hampshire get a Lord's final.

  10. Hampshire 29-0published at 4 overs

    Adams 15, Rossouw 12

Rilee Rossouw is very much a boom or bust sort of batsman.

It's boom time this over as he smacks Ben Coad to the point boundary and then steps into a wonderful cover drive. Four more.

    Magnificent batting.

  11. Hampshire 21-0published at 3 overs

    Adams 15, Rossouw 4

That's a better over from Matt Fisher as only three come from it, including an edge past slip by Rilee Rossouw.

What's a par score today then? 350? I think even I'd like a bat on this track.

  12. 'Yorkshire to win'published at 2.3 overs

    Hampshire 20-0

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

There should be some pace and bounce today and I think that's why both sides will prefer to chase.

Two very similar sides, Yorkshire have some very canny bowlers like Steve Patterson, Tim Bresnan and Matt Fisher, who is improving all the time.

I'm going to go with Yorkshire to win.

  13. Hampshire 18-0published at 2 overs

    Adams 15, Rossouw 1

Yep, Jimmy Adams is in the mood for Hampshire.

The opener flashes an edge off Ben Coad past a diving Adam Lyth at slip, and follows it up with a commanding pull shot to the rope.

Adams is up to 15 off 10 balls.

Rob RoderickZabrocky: So on edge today, all I want is to take my nine-year-old to watch his beloved Yorkshire at Lord's on June 30th. COME ON YORKSHIRE.

  15. Hampshire 10-0published at 1 over

    Adams 9, Rossouw 1

It's a terrific first over for Hampshire and Jimmy Adams, who looks in prime touch.

The opener clips Matt Fisher for a couple, followed by a three and then punches him down the ground for four. Pure timing.

The pitch looks a belter for batting.

Bright blue skies in Southampton - lovely for batting it would seem.

Yorkshire took a more long-winded route to the semi-finals, as they won their final two group games to finish third and set up a play-off at Essex.

The White Rose struggled with the bat early on before posting a target of 260, but new captain Steve Patterson's brilliant 4-36 helped his side bowl Essex out for 234.

Yorkshire are without a host of star names who are away on international duty, but they still pose a very real threat to the hosts.
