Just eight days of county cricket left after this one - and the T20 Blast trophy is the final prize to be won after Surrey clinched the County Championship last week.

Will Sussex or Worcestershire be the team lifting it in about 90 minutes from now? Stay with us to find out.

Well, well. Where will the trophy end up then?

I don't know the answer to that, but the man who will be on hand to deliver the confirmation of it in the coming hours will be Paul Grunill.

All yours Paul for the closing innings in this year's T20 Blast....

  4. Shark attack spells dangerpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Sussex's total of 157-6 doesn't look great - but they have an excellent seam attack, featuring the likes of Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan, so the game isn't over yet.

Hampshire only managed 150-6 in the 2012 final, but it was good enough to earn them a 10-run win over Yorkshire.

  5. 'Worcestershire will be delighted'published at 20:10 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    James Anderson
Lancashire and England fast bowler on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra

Worcestershire will be delighted with their work, having seen Sussex get over 200 in their semi-final, I think they'll be very pleased with it.

Sussex have got the bowling attack to defend this and we've seen the pitch skidding on a bit so they'll be thinking their bowlers who can bowl 90 mph plus will be in the game.

  6. Moeen takes 3-30published at 20:09 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Sussex Sharks 157-6 v Worcestershire Rapids

As well as the miserly Pat Brown, there were some key scalps taken by skipper Moeen Ali in that Sussex innings.

Here's how the England all-rounder did for David Wiese for his third wicket...

  7. Brown earns praise from Jimmypublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Worcestershire paceman Pat Brown finishes his T20 campaign with 31 wickets at a cost of 13.35 each, six more than any other bowler in the competition.

Fantastic effort by the Peterborough-born youngster, and he's caught the eye of a man who knows a thing or two about taking wickets.

Sussex Sharks 157-6 v Worcestershire Rapids

The last five overs of that Sussex innings cost 26-3, underlining how well Worcestershire's bowlers kept that under control.

Where would you rather be at the halfway stage, with runs on the board or heading out to chase those?

Sussex Sharks 157-6 v Worcestershire Rapids

Jofra Archer falls from Wayne Parnell's last ball as he is caught in the deep for 7.

Ed Barnard snaffles it low down as he comes in off the boundary.

Sussex make 157-6. Is that par or below it?

Worcestershire defended 169 in their semi-final, Sussex had plenty more to play for in theirs after making 202.

Three balls in and just four runs off this over so far.

    Tidy stuff so far.

Here we go then, last over of Sussex's innings to be bowled by Wayne Parnell.

Can Sharks get themselves up to 170?

Sussex Sharks 152-5 v Worcestershire Rapids

Patrick Brown gets the job of delivering the penultimate over and again batsmen struggle to time his variations.

Neither Michael Burgess or Jofra Archer can find the boundary. His very tidy overs cost just 15 runs, superb economy on the big stage from the 19-year-old.

  13. 'They keep missing the middle of the bat'published at 19:57 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Jack Shantry
Ex-Worcestershire all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra

I can't remember the last time I've seen so many batsmen cloth the ball from one particular bowler. The amount of times Sussex have missed the middle of the bat from Patrick Brown.

Michael Burgess goes big and just big enough as he gets enough willow on a shot off Ed Barnard to go all the way.

Brett D'Oliveira tried in vain to hang on and keep it inside the rope but the speed just carried him over the rope.

WICKET Evans (b Barnard) 52published at 17.2 overs

Sussex Sharks 138-5 v Worcestershire Rapids

Big wicket again for Worcestershire and Ed Barnard gets the scalp of Laurie Evans.

Evans not happy with both himself for playing a pre-meditated paddle reverse sweep and also for the height of the delivery, but on review, it's a legal delivery and he has to go for 52 off 44 balls.

    • Laurie Evans - 614 T20 runs this summer at an average of 68.22, with a strike-rate of 135.84.

Patrick Brown back on again for Worcestershire in the closing stages of this Sussex innings.

Some real intelligent cricket here from the right-armer who keeps on mixing his pace. Michael Burgess struggles to time him.

Just 10 runs conceded off his three overs so far.

There is a half-century for Laurie Evans off 40 balls. It's included four fours and two sixes.

As mentioned, he scored one for Birmingham Bears in the 2014 final when they beat Lancashire by just five runs.

Has he played another match-winning hand tonight?

Moeen Ali meanwhile finishes with 3-30 off his four overs.

  19. wicket

Sussex Sharks 131-4 v Worcestershire Rapids

Moeen Ali with a third wicket in this final for Worcestershire!

David Wiese in all sorts and chops on to his own stumps. Another big breakthrough for the Rapids at a very useful time.

  20. Postpublished at 15 overs

Sussex Sharks 131-3 v Worcestershire Rapids

Luke Wood completes his last over with David Wiese the new man in.

Wiese pulls Wood for four to get things ticking along while Laurie Evans moves to within a run of a second half-century in a T20 Final.

Ten runs off that Wood over as he finishes with 0-24.
