Sussex Sharks 121-3 v Worcestershire Rapids

Moeen Ali into his third over and Laurie Evans counter-attacks with a couple of boundaries to move him into the 40s.

But, Delray Rawlins isn't following the same script and holes out off the last ball of the over for 21.

Pat Brown holds on under the floodlights.

  2. Delray clears the ropepublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Delray Rawlins is one of the most talked about young cricketers around the county circuit. And while he may still lack a bit of cricketing maturity, he certainly doesn't lack raw power - as this huge maximum demonstrates.

  3. Postpublished at 13 overs

Sussex Sharks 110-2 v Worcestershire Rapids

Luke Wood back on for his third over for Worcestershire.

Bowls a no ball at the start which to his relief doesn't cost more than a leg bye off the free hit.

Mixes up the pace a bit and Sussex struggle to get it away.

  4. Moeen bags a prize scalppublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Here's how Moeen Ali did for Finals Day run machine Luke Wright with a nice bit of flight and guile.

Worcestershire could do with a few more like this one....

  7. 'Wright's wicket was a great timing for Worcestershire'published at 19:28 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Steven Mullaney
Nottinghamshire captain on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra

That was a great time for a wicket for Worcestershire, the partnership between Wright and Evans was building nicely.

It's a pretty even game, Worcestershire needed that wicket to pull it back in their favour a little bit, but Sussex will be happy with where they are at.

Another Moeen Ali over as all of a sudden Worcestershire need a breakthrough again to shift the momentum. And he's got it, and what a wicket too!

    Luke Wright on his way!

He tried to come down the pitch and smash him out the ground but Moeen does him in the flight and bowls him. Big moment.

There is now a simply massive slowly moving conga of fancy dress characters all connected up along, down, up and down the length of the Hollies Stand.

    A marvellous sight!

It's like the queue for cakes at teatime in the Ladies Pavilion at Worcester but a lot larger, a lot more colourful, a lot less cake, and a lot more ale involved.

  17. Postpublished at 7 overs

Sussex Sharks 46-1 v Worcestershire Rapids

Ed Barnard into the Worcestershire attack and it's another tidy piece of bowling from the Rapids attack.

For a moment, it looks like Laurie Evans is bowled trying to paddle sweep, but it's actually wicketkeeper Ben Cox who accidentally knocks a bail off standing up.

    Just three runs from it.

  18. 'Occasions like this show what players are all about'published at 19:12 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Alex Hartley
England spin bowler on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

These types of occasions really show what players are about - so for the young lads like Pat Brown it really shows how you can hold your nerve on big occasions.

There's more than 20,000 people watching and cheering you on, sometimes it can get to you.

  19. Powerplay donepublished at 6 overs

Sussex Sharks 43-1 v Worcestershire Rapids

    Pat BrownImage source, Rex Features

Patrick Brown needs three wickets in this final to become the highest wicket-taker in a T20 domestic season, surpassing Alfonso Thomas' previous best of 33 for Somerset.

He mixes up his pace in the last over of the Powerplay and nearly does for Luke Wright, who's about two weeks too early on the shot on one occasion. Tidy stuff from the right-armer.

  20. Myburgh says goodbyepublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Defeat in the semi-finals brought an end to the career of Somerset's South African opener Johann Myburgh.

He signed off with 22 off 11 balls against Sussex Sharks, having promised that his appearance at Finlas Day would be the last of his career.

It's clear he's held in high esteem at Taunton.
