Wood is still charging in. There's no Chris Woakes for England today remember. This is Wood's third over in a row. Will another bowler come back to finish the innings off?
Can England pick Tom Curran and only bowl him at the death? He's excellent in this period when batsman are constantly trying to attack.
No hat-trick but it's another dot for Tommy Curran.

The last hat-trick in ODI cricket for England was Steve Finn in the first game of the 2015 World Cup. All of them were caught in the deep.
Sri Lanka now have Dhananjaya de Silva and Akila Dananjaya at the crease. Neither have faced a ball.
Tom Curran is on a hat-trick.

That was a nice low catch by Alex Hales.
Perera c Hales b T Curran 11 (SL 328-6)
Two in two! It's a very similar dismissal. Tom Curran mixes it up again and Thisara Perera goes for the big shot but picks out Alex Hales at deep mid-wicket.
Chandimal c Roy b T Curran 80 (SL 328-5)
Silence falls around Colombo. The Sri Lanka captain falls for an excellent 80. It's another slower ball from Tom Curran and there isn't enough pace on the ball for Dinesh Chandimal to force it over the rope. He gives it plenty of welly but picks out Jason Roy.
It's now dark in Colombo. The clouds still look quite high so I don't think it's going to rain. Tom Curran is back.

I'm doing the cha-cha-cha this week.
As it's Halloween, I'm dressing as Michael Jackson from the Thriller video.
Chandimal flicks the ball out into the deep and Ben Stokes arrows the ball in. Stokes fancies he's hit the stumps from 60 yards away, tracking the ball and walking away Phil Mickelson at Augusta, but it just misses.
Wood then gets called for a very harsh wide which leaves both he and Jos Buttler disgusted. He can't blame anyone but himself a ball later though. That's definitely wide. A scrappy end to a decent over.
Short and quick from Wood. It leaves Thisara Perera flapping around in front of his face. Just two from the first four balls...
Wood continues. If this over goes badly I think the Durham man might want to stay off Twitter for a while. He's not getting much love.
Oh my! (Big) Thisara Perera heaves the ball all the way for six over the leg side. That's Adil Rashid done. Sri Lanka can just tee off now.
Shot! Aleem Dar shows footwork Len Goodman would be proud of in getting out of the way of a bullet from Dinesh Chandimal. The umpire hops like he's doing a dance I don't know the name of to avoid the ball and it whistles straight down the ground for four.

Wood does improve after the chat with Buttler. Three singles and a dot ball come from the end of the over.
It's back over to Adil Rashid for his final over. One-man bowling attack?
I'm with you, Nick.

Don't agree with the decision to rest Morgan today - to me it makes more sense for the captain to see the attitude and application of the fringe players first hand, and to rest someone (Root or Stokes) who is going to be involved in the Test series.
