Mark Wood was another who was expensive earlier but returns.
He starts with a leg stump half-volley which is clipped for four.
Hmmm.

Nick Bridgeman: I'm looking on the bright side - to chase this down we'll have to go ballistic, which would be supremely entertaining.
James Doe: We might actually see a testing chase for England in ODI cricket for a change!
Thisara Perera strolls out to the middle to join his captain. I'm going to try not to call him 'big Thisara Perera' today. I'll probably fail in that.

That was a bit of a wild club from Shanaka.
Shanaka c Roy b Rashid 18 (SL 300-4)
Dansun Shanaka hasn't got the memo about Adil Rashid being England's best bowler today and tries to whack him out of the ground. He gets a top edge on his slog sweep and Jason Roy takes a good catch as the ball comes down with snow on it.
There's very little celebration from England.
There's the 300. The Sri Lanka fans all scream in delight and wave their flags as the scoreboard ticks over. The last 100 runs have come up in his 69 balls.
Jos Buttler is turning back to his spinners with nine overs to go. Eoin Morgan, in his yellow bib, continues to watch on from the sidelines.
Adil Rashid has two overs left and he's going to bowl them now.
Plunkett 5-0-44-1
Good news for England. Joe Root is returning to the field after taking a blow earlier. It looks like he's had his thumb strapped up.

I think 360 is definitely on for Sri Lanka.
This is now at the stage where England fans should start to worry.
Dinesh Chandimal stands still and heaves Plunkett for the biggest six we have seen so far today.
Short. Wide. Whacked for four.
Liam Plunkett gets what he deserved with that delivery.
Into the final 10 overs we go.
England send as many fielders as they can to the boundary.
Eight an over gets 365.
Run rate: 6.97
Stokes' first two overs were as good as we've seen today but he has been expensive since then.
Tom Curran continues to loop down his back-of-the-hand slower balls and almost deceives Chandimal. The Surrey bowler is encouraged by that and goes again but Shanaka picks this one. He whacks the ball back over Curran's head for another four.
England just can't stop the boundaries today.

Simon Hewitt: Only just catching up with today’s ODI. I have only watched a few overs so far but they have been utter dross. England bowling everything in the slot or down the leg side. Need to review the frequent changes to the team (and Ben Stokes’ automatic place)?
I'm sorry but that's just terrible. New batsman Dasun Shanaka gets a freebie on his pads from Tom Curran and flicks for four.
Plunkett finishes off his over well and keeps the damage down to just singles. What can Sri Lanka get to?

This is only the 15th time in ODI history that the top four batsmen have all scored fifty or more.
Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka's best batsman in the last match, is the new man.

Ben Stokes misjudged that initially, looking into the sun. Those thoughts of rain may have been premature.
The last time I saw England get flogged around like this was when Scotland beat them last year. It's going to be great to see England really tested when chasing later on.
