Jason Holder might be tempted to just bowl Carlos Brathwaite straight through and try and finish England off.

Another fine over from him - just one off it.

Jonathan France: This is one of those collapses that Michael Vaughan was warning us about. No point scoring 400+ in the World Cup round robins if in the knockout games we limp to 150-200 & lose!

    Brathwaite 6-1-13-2

Yeesh. New man Moeen Ali is almost gone first ball.

Carlos Brathwaite gets it to lift off a length and Moeen prods uneasily, the ball deflecting off the shoulder of the bat and just over the man at a close in square leg position.

What are the chances that Moeen Ali is still going to take on the shot ball despite everything that has gone before?

Might want to shelve that hook shot, yeah?

Yet another England batsman that was starting to look set falls after taking on the short ball on a pitch with lively bounce.

Again it's Carlos Brathwaite banging in a well-directed short ball, Ben Stokes tries to hook it away but it's too close and flicks the glove on the way through to Shai Hope behind the stumps.

West Indies exploiting the conditions very well. England not playing sensibly enough.

  8. Eng 87-4published at 18 overs

    Stokes 15, Buttler 10

Ben Stokes slashes out to the deep and scampers two. It's a mighty throw in from the fence by Shimron Hetmyer, right on the money for Ashley Nurse to break the stumps but Jos Buttler was clearly in.

Hetmyer can't believe the umpire isn't sending it upstairs but is told that Buttler was obviously in.

Shot! Buttler then bashes it through the covers for four. Tremendous placement.

Off-spinner Ashley Nurse is going to have a bowl...

  10. Eng 78-4published at 17 overs

    Run rate 4.59

England aren't going to be scoring much off Carlos Brathwaite today is he continues bowling like this.

He's finding bounce on the right line and Jos Buttler has to resort to moving outside his off stump to meet the ball and work it into a gap in the leg side just to pick up one.

  11. Eng 76-4published at 16 overs

    Stokes 11, Buttler 3

Bang! Oshane Thomas strays wide with a short ball outside off and Ben Stokes cracks a cut shot away for four.

Bang! Bang! Short and straight this time and Stokes marmalises a pull stroke through mid-wicket for four more.

The last is short again and Stokes picks up one by swivelling a pull shot round the corner. Almost a mix up on the boundary between two fielders before one of them obliges.

Good over for England - nine from it.

  12. Eng 67-4published at 15 overs

    Brathwaite 4-1-9-1

Yeesh. Jos Buttler tries to work one to leg but the swing takes it just past his outside edge.

The last ball does find the outside edge - it would've gone straight to third slip in a Test but there is no one there and Buttler picks up two, with a decent diving stop on the fence.

Carlos Brathwaite is bowling brilliantly so far today.

Jos Buttler tucks off his legs for a single down to fine leg to get off the mark.

    Enter Jos Buttler.

England would very much like another 150 from him.

    Beware the bounce.

It's short and well-directed by Oshane Thomas and Eoin Morgan takes on the hook shot.

But he can't control it with the lively bounce extracted by Thomas and the ball sails straight to Sheldon Cottrell at fine leg.

Salutin' Sheldon snaffles it once again. England in trouble.

Oshane Thomas strays wide and Eoin Morgan releases the pressure with a firm square drive through point for four.

    Brathwaite 3-1-7-1

Carlos Brathwaite goes round the wicket to Ben Stokes, shaping the ball in and then moving it away to beat the outside edge. A peach.

Stokes is really struggling to get Brathwaite away. That's a maiden!

Oshane Thomas is into the attack and beats the inside edge of Ben Stokes' bat with his first delivery, coming back in from over the wicket to the left-hander.

The second rears up and Stokes just about fends it into the leg side and doesn't know where it's gone until Eoin Morgan calls him through for a single.

More bounce from Thomas and Morgan has to dab it down. A fine, aggressive over from the young gun.
