It was a tough chance. David Willey got both hands to it but was is no position to complete the catch.

    Oh, this should be out!

Asif Ali goes big again but doesn't quite get to the pitch of the ball. David Willey comes forward from long-on, gets a hand to it - and shells it!

    WOW.

This has made the most gorgeous sound off the bat, Asif Ali simply opening up his arms and smashing Rashid for an almighty six straight down the ground.

On this evidence, it's simple... Archer MUST play in the World Cup. With the exception of Rashid, this attack is pretty toothless. No mystery, no real threat. Good job the batting is the best line-up in the world!

  6. Pak 257-3published at 37 overs

Tidy from Moeen to end the over, and a couple of whipped singles mean Pakistan need 117 runs from 78 balls.

Ben Stokes made a valiant attempt but the ball flew just tantalisingly beyond his grasp.

  8. 6 runs

    Pak 254-3published at 36.3 overs

    Asif Ali goes again!

He hasn't quite nailed this shot, the ball coming off the bottom of the bat as he dances down the pitch to Moeen, but there's enough oomph on the ball to get it past Ben Stokes and over the ropes.

  9. Pak 245-3published at 36 overs

England are still the favourites, but it only takes one or two big overs...

Asif Ali has absolutely smoked that into the crowd.

A couple of dot balls start this latest Adil Rashid over, but that's a successful leg side slog for Asif Ali.

    Six!

Fakhar Zaman reminded me of Lance Klusener, who made you feel like everything you bowled at him was in his arc.

  13. Pak 236-3published at 35 overs

    Need 137 from 90 balls

Imagine not liking Moeen Ali, though. You could be in the most stressful situation in the world and Moeen will still look as unbothered as is humanly possible.

He concedes just three runs in this over, with Asif Ali sweeping him nicely for one of them.

Double spin for England now, with Moeen coming back on.

Haris Sohail is off the mark with his first delivery, tapping Adil Rashid's googly away.

These leggies just seem to have the ability to pick up wickets with long hops.

A toe-ender! It wasn't a great delivery and Babar Azam's eyes lit up but he miscued it. That's a really soft dismissal.

    Babar c&b Rashid 51 (Pak 233-3)

Well. No-one comes out of this well.

It's a long hop from Adil Rashid, and Babar Azam has got himself into a horrible muddle trying to flat-bat it away. I think his bat just slipped from his grasp slightly; either way, he's only managed to get enough bat behind it to bunt it straight to Rashid.

That's two wickets in six balls for England...

  20. 50 runs

50 for Babarpublished at 33.2 overs

That'll be a run-a-ball half century for Babar Azam.

He's hit just the one boundary in that innings - it's been all about placement and running hard.
