A bit of fortune for Pakistan - you're going to get that with bat speed. 350 is on here for Pakistan.

  2. Pak 299-5published at 43.4 overs

It's not how Imad Wasim expected this to go in his head but it's the same result. An ugly swipe flies over Joe Root and for four to third man.

    Runs are flowing.

  3. Pak 294-5published at 43.2 overs

Not great this time from David Willey.

He goes for the yorker again but bowls a full toss. Imam-ul-Haq has been in way too long to miss out on those.

Eoin Morgan doesn't look particularly impressed.

    Imam 142, Imad 2

Imad Wasim is the new batsman. Will he push Pakistan on to 350+?

England bowled a lot of bouncers to him in the previous games. He'll surely be expecting that again.

Asif Ali is the sort of batsman Pakistan will want to come in in the last 20 overs. He's a hitter - and a dangerous hitter. England are very grateful for that.

    Good response, Chris Woakes.

He puts that terrible delivery out of his mind and bowls a good bouncer to Asif Ali. The Pakistan number six tries to club it away but mistimes it and chips the ball to Jason Roy at mid-off.

A good innings comes to an end. An important wicket for England.

That, for me, was tummy button height.

Woakes was lucky to get away with that. It was high!

  9. Pak 286-4published at 42.1 overs

Chris Woakes, meanwhile, has just bowled the rankest of rank full tosses.

So bad it was almost a no-ball. It's whacked for four by Imam.

  10. Pak 282-4published at 42 overs

Apart from the wides that was a very good over from David Willey. He prevented the boundaries by getting the ball right up full.

He's keeping it full outside off stump to the right-hander and angling it into the left-hander's toes.

  11. Not outpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 14 May 2019

Asif Ali is in by five or six inches.

Regardless, my football team could do with signing a few of these lads up.

    Have England done it again?!

Jonny Bairstow this time kicks the ball onto the stumps for a run-out.

We're checking with the third umpire.

Two wides from Willey. He is trying to tuck Imam up and not give him room to free his arms but has twice let the ball drift down the leg side.

  14. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 14 May 2019

David Willey is coming back. Can he repeat the good death bowling he showed in Southampton?

England need him to or they're going to be chasing 350+.

Francis Edwards: Stokes’ form doesn’t concern me. He produces magic or he’s rubbish, not a consistent performer and this England side is built around consistent performers!

    Imam 132, Asif 50

Imam-ul-Haq is the headline act but Asif Ali is playing a brilliant hand here for Pakistan. His third six is another big one over the leg side. Chris Woakes is on the receiving end this time.

Asif then sneaks a single off the final ball.

That's a fifty for the 27-year-old and it has come from just 39 balls.

Chris Woakes continues. He has four overs left.

  19. Pak 264-4published at 40 overs

    Imam 130, Asif 42

10 overs to go. England can now at least put another man on the boundary.

55 runs have come from the last five overs on this flat pitch.

    340 about par?

  20. 6 runs

    Pak 262-4published at 39.4 overs

England don't have any answers to this at the moment. This is the biggest hit of the lot from Asif Ali.

A half volley from Tom Curran is marmalised.
