What is really good about these England bowlers is that deep down one of them knows they are going to miss out on a place in the World Cup but they are all making this decision a difficult one.
That is what you have to do as a player.
Hasan c Denly b T Curran 1 (Pak 319-7)
Well, Tom Curran's all but secured his World Cup spot today.
It's a fierce blow from Hasan Ali, making a terrific noise off the bat as he aims for the legside boundary, but he's picked the longest boundary on the ground to try and clear. He almost manages it, but Joe Denly takes a good catch to end his innings.
Another shuffling of the pack by Jos Buttler, with Tom Curran coming back on.

I have enjoyed Mark Wood today. There is no movement so you need to find something different and he has got it.
He has got the pace and that skiddy pace which is awkward for a batsman.
Joe Root and Mark Wood both burst out laughing when they saw the replay of that dismissal on the big screen.
That's Wood's work done for the day. He finishes with figures of 10-0-71-2.
Hasan Ali is the new man at the crease, and he drives a single from his first delivery.

The ball wasn't going anywhere near. Malik has just smashed his stumps down.
Shoaib hit wicket b Wood 41 (Pak 316-6)
Hit wicket!
Oh, this looks far funnier than I think it's meant to. Shoaib Malik goes for another heaving tennis shot, overbalances a touch as he shimmies to the leg side, and ends up whacking his stumps to bits. Think Jonny Bairstow when he got out at Bristol the other day and destroyed his stumps. Whoops. Wood has a wry grin on his face as he runs off to celebrate.
Mark Wood misses a yorker by a mile, serving up a juicy full toss, but Shoaib Malik can only punch it away for two.
Shoaib 37, Sarfaraz 3
Now then!
This is a fine swiping strike from Shoaib Malik, showing his stumps and swatting Wood's first delivery through the leg side. He's aimed it so well he beats two fielders and picks up four.
Mark Wood is coming back on, presumably in a good mood after this belter of a grab.
Run rate 6.70
Perilously close to a run-out for Pakistan as Shoaib and Sarfaraz come charging through for a single, but the throw to the non striker's end is wide.

I don't think it is great field-setting. Shoaib Malik does like hitting to the off-side.
Shot!
Shoaib Malik slides to his left, giving himself some room, then opens up his arms to flay another boundary through point.
Jofra Archer will replace Mark Wood, with Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed at the crease.

It was there to hit. Imad just lost all of his shape.
Tom Curran always picks up wickets. He has that knack.
Imad b T Curran 12 (Pak 298-5)
Bowled him!
Imad Wasim goes for his third big yahoo of the over and he misses. It's a good delivery from Tom Curran, full but not quite yorker length, and the zing bails come flying off as the ball connects with the stumps.
Tom Curran keeps Imad quiet with a good yorker, but that's a fine shot, Imad getting his front leg out of the way and swatting a short ball away for a one-bounce four.
