It was good awareness from Archer, charging forwards and sidefooting the ball onto the stumps, but I think Shoaib Malik has made his ground.

Has Jofra Archer done another one of those fancy footwork run-outs?
The umpire is having a look...
Hello!
Asif Ali is such fun to watch. This is just his second ball, and he stands tall, leaning back and creams Jofra Archer down the ground for six.
Jofra Archer's got four overs up his sleeve, and he's about to bowl one of them.

Into the final 10 overs we go.
Babar Azam's final stats - 115 from 112 balls with 13 fours and one six, a strike rate of 102.67.
Asif Ali is the new man in. This could be an entertaining couple of overs...

Very good knock. Babar was trying to up his scoring rate.
It was a good catch in the end from Archer because he misread it originally. It was a good time for a wicket for England.
Babar c Archer b T Curran 115 (Pak 249-3)
Aaaaand he's out.
Perhaps conscious of the rate, Babar Azam goes for another big shot, trying to force Tom Curran over cover, but Jofra Archer is a very good athlete. He comes running in off the boundary, dives forwards, and gets both hands underneath the ball as it falls to the turf.

That has been smoked through the off-side.
My word, Babar Azam has nailed this slower ball for four. Jofra Archer doesn't have a chance of getting near that on the edge of the boundary.
Whoops. Shoaib Malik taps a Tom Curran slower ball away towards the leg side. Jos Buttler comes running out from behind the stumps to meet the throw, misses and Ben Stokes, backing up, dives over the ball. That allows Pakistan to turn what should have been a single into three runs.

It feels like 350 is a must. It is a nice day. The wicket is fine. The ball doesn't swing. It all adds up to 360 minimum for me.
Run rate 6.21
Oh, hello! Mark Wood serves up a friendly half-volley and Babar Azam creams it to the boundary.
That's a bit edgier, Babar opening the face of the bat and the ball hovers in the air, but it ultimately glides through the vacant slip cordon for back-to-back fours.

Babar needs to turn this into 140 runs from 120 balls or 150 from 125 if he is to really help his team.
Babar 102, Shoaib 5
We've just seen that shot of Imam-ul-Haq applauding Babar's century - he clapped his hands in the way royals in TV shows always applaud, gently tapping the back of their hand.
Sarfaraz made him put his arm down in case he did himself a further mischief!

Babar has played solidly in the anchor role but will have to kick on now.
Pak 230-2
And Babar Azam reaches his century with a four!
It's a poor delivery from Tom Curran, heading down the leg side, and Babar gets enough of a tickle on it to help it reach the fine leg boundary. He gets a standing ovation from his teammates on the balcony, including Imam-ul-Haq who has what looks like a giant block of ice strapped to his injured elbow.
A single brings Babar Azam, on 97, on strike.
He hasn't scored a boundary since the 28th over.
