Tom Curran calls Imad Wasim's bluff, sending down a slower delivery with Imad hanging back, expecting the short ball into the body.

Oh, hello! Six! What a shot that is, Imad clonking a slower ball right back down the ground for a big 'un. He almost put his back out reaching for that one.

Imad Wasim is, thankfully, fine to continue, and Shoaib Malik ends the over with a whip off his legs for two.

  6. Pak 285-4published at 43.5 overs

Short, fast, vicious from Mark Wood, and Imam Wasim gets a nasty clunk on the helmet as he tries to pull.

He jogs a bye and he seems to be okay, but the physio is coming out to do the relevant checks.

  7. Pak 284-4published at 43.4 overs

Full from Mark Wood first up, and it's easily clattered away by Imad Wasim to get off the mark.

Shoaib gets into a tangle trying to fend a 91mph ball from Wood away from his pads, an outside edge helping the ball nip through backward point for one, before Shoaib gives himself plenty of room to uppercut a short ball for one.

The look of gleeful delight on Mark Wood's face when he took that catch was lovely. Like a kid that's been given the best Christmas present ever.

Ah, Shoaib Malik has returned from his comfort break! It'll be Wood to bowl.

Imad Wasim has come out to join Shoaib Malik.

Oh, wait, we've lost Shoaib Malik. He's nipped off the field for a second.

What should have been a regulation catch turned into a belter. Wood realised he wasn't anywhere near it and had to dive. He had a big smile on his face there in the end.

    WICKETpublished at 43 overs

    Asif c Wood b Archer 17 (Pak 280-4)

    What a catch!

England have been tremendous in the field today. It's a short ball from Jofra Archer, hurrying Asif Ali who loses his shape and balance as he tries to pull him into the stands. Mark Wood, down on the fine leg boundary, loses the ball in the wind, pauses slightly, then dives to his left at the last second to take a superb, two-handed catch.

  13. Pak 280-3published at 42.5 overs

Hands on heads from Jofra Archer as he unfurls a terrific, 92.6mph yorker that Asif Ali somehow avoids chopping onto his stumps.

We've had three dot balls in a row, so what does Asif do? Take a half-volley and smash it through cover for four. Lovely, lovely stuff from batsman and bowler.

  14. Pak 276-3published at 42.3 overs

Shoaib Malik shows his stumps to Jofra Archer and whips a single away, before Asif Ali throws the kitchen sink into a drive outside his off stump and misses.

And again! Another swing and a miss to an Archer slower balls.

Babar Azam's hundred was the slowest hundred on this ground in ODIs since the last World Cup. There have been six previously.

  16. Pak 275-3published at 42 overs

    Shoaib 22, Asif 13

This is good from Adil Rashid, cutting off the boundary options, but Asif and Shoaib are alert enough to nurdle the ball around the field for a series of singles.

One hand off the bat from Shoaib Malik as he drives Jofra Archer through for two, before a terrific tennis swat of a pull, the batsman jumping into the air to take on the short ball, ensures Pakistan end the over with a four.
