More from Joe Denly to TMS on the birth of his daughter: "It's been incredible - it would've been even more amazing if I'd managed to get to that hundred mark.
"The other day was amazing I missed the birth of my son by five minutes so it was great to get there in time for my daughter.
"We'll have to get Steve Smith out first but hopefully the pitch will start to take turn, get a bit of variable bounce and Australia got it reversing today as well."

They came over here firstly to retain the Ashes and I think 3-1 would be a fair reflection but England have found ways to hang in there.
Australia only have themselves to blame though really. Tim Paine should have chosen to bat. They should've picked Mitchell Starc over Peter Siddle. They've used the review system badly.
There will be a tinge of disappointment if they draw the series 2-2.
England batsman Joe Denly, speaking to TMS: "It was good, nice to get that score and disappointing not to get to the milestone. But we're in a great position going into day four and that's the main thing, hopefully we can make the most of it tomorrow.
"I wasn't thinking about my place on the winter tours, I was just trying to occupy the crease and if I did that scoring opportunities would come.
"That's the end of my box, I'll have to invest in a new one. This whole series has been a real graft with the bat against their attack.
"I borrowed Rory Burns' box and he has two taped together so I may have to go down that route."
Peter Siddle clearly still believes.
It was a tough day for Australia, and they now face a battle to prevent England winning this match and tying the series at 2-2, but they did pull of these two brilliant catches late in the day.
More from Peter Siddle to TMS: "We know what happened at Headingley on a nice batting strip so if we make the most of this deck, who knows?
"You wouldn't bet against Steve Smith making his first fourth innings century - that's a start and we'll see how we go from there.
"There is not a lot happening with the ball so if you're patient like they were you can build a big innings
"Plenty of people have written me off but I'm just trying to stay fit, stay on the park and fourth time lucky I've been able to retain the Ashes over here and maybe even still win it."
It wasn't to be for Rory Burns, Joe Root or Jonny Bairstow today. They all made starts but failed to go on.
Australia bowler Peter Siddle, speaking to TMS: "It was a tough day - it would have been nice to get some early breakthroughs and put more pressure on them but it didn't come.
"Credit to us we kept plugging away got a couple of quick wickets in the morning and you never know.
"We know how much it means to win the series, it just comes down to execution and we've been behind the eight-ball from the start."

Australia have looked tired and sloppy. England have capitalised on Tim Paine's decision at the toss and played a very good game of cricket so far.
Ben Stokes was the other main contributor to England's score.
He was dropped early but made a fourth score of 50 or more in the series. He eventually fell to Nathan Lyon for 67.

I wrote Joe Denly off, many did. But I like players that have that inner strength to prove people wrong. He got dropped on nought last night and he must've been thinking he had to make it count.
He played so well. He had a bit of fortune, with that lbw shout that Tim Paine failed to review too.
But he kept his hands a bit closer to him and when there are quality bowlers and a bit of movement, if you play with hands away from your body, you're going to get found out.
He played with more control and had a forward defence.
England batsman Joe Denly, speaking to Sky Sports about the birth of his daughter: "She is very well. Mother and baby are both doing very well and returned home this afternoon."
On his 94, Denly said: "Against this attack it is always a battle. You have to work hard for every run. I am naturally disappointed not to get to the milestone but we are in a great position going into day four and that is the most important thing.
"I haven't done a great deal of opening in the last few years. I am still learning and still improving.
"The disappointment of the of series is getting a few starts and finding ways to get out. Hopefully if I play more Test cricket I will keep learning and improving and the big scores will come."

England proved that they can bat all day. They've really tried since the 67 all out at Headingley to play in the proper Test match way.
For them to compete in Australia they will have to learn the way of getting big, big scores.
It was harsh on Denly. He batted so well. He probably deserved the ton. He batted for 206 balls but was out caught off the bowling of Peter Siddle for 94.
Did Denly do enough to keep his England place? Probably.

England are in the box seat. Australia fought hard in that final session but England played with great control.
Australia might have a sniff, you never know after this summer.
That has to be one of England's best days of the series. They started the day with a small lead but they've batted themselves into a position where it is hard to see them losing.
The only shame is that Joe Denly fell six runs short of a first Test century.
