Curran is still having a swing without much success. I wonder if their childhood friendship will stop Mitchell Marsh having a sledge.
That's drinks.

Michael Kent: Same old Bairstow - always fleeting. Same old Bairstow - always fleeting.
It's Curran v Marsh now in a repeat of the back garden from years ago.

Oh! There was an appeal halfway through that over for lbw from Lyon against Jos Buttler. It didn't look out at all on first look but the replays show had Australia reviewed it would have been out. Again!
You can't help but laugh at the state Australia have got themselves into with these reviews. Justin Langer watches on in despair.

Hugo: Bairstow is simply not good enough to bat in the top five. And given that he’s probably the third best keeper after Foakes and Buttler, he should be worried about his place in this Test team.
A few thousand people have just woaaahed in unison after Jos Buttler timed one delightfully through extra cover. There is loud applause as the ball reaches the rope.
Buttler is in decent nick now by the last innings of the series.

Steve Smith now has five catches in the match, having also dropped two.

Well on this evidence Sam Curran is playing in similarly attacking fashion. He pulls his second ball just wide of mid-wicket and then has a big swish a ball later.

That was a bit rude by Jonny Bairstow to say he didn't trust Steve Smith there.
Sam Curran blocks his first ball. Can he show a bit more composure than he did in the first innings?

The game is moving on again. The ball continues to nip about and just do enough.
Bairstow c Smith b Marsh 14 (Eng 249-5)
No doubt about it. Steve Smith has caught that a good few inches above the ground. It was a good ball from Mitchell Marsh.
Bairstow is on his way.
It has carried comfortably...

That's a brilliant catch low down by Steve Smith at slip.
Jonny Bairstow has edged to first slip. Has it carried?
The soft signal is out.
I can't hear him at the moment but he probably still will be. Even when his team are 318 behind.
