    Breakthrough!

Is this the start of a dramatic collapse?

Probably not. But Afghanistan deserved a wicket.

In truth, its not a great delivery. It's wide which entices Aaron Finch to throw the kitchen sink at it but he manages to pick out Mujeeb Ur Rahman on the cover boundary.

You feel like that's a soft dismissal.

Gulbadin Naib has brought himself back into the attack.

Afghanistan need something special from their captain here.

Glenn Hampson: As an Aussie cricket fan how can other countries be expected not to react, when one particularly is loathed by most fans here. They have embarrassed the country and a paltry one-year ban doesn’t excuse, or will excuse, the act for the rest of their careers.

  4. Aus 94-0published at 16 overs

Rashid Khan's googly is causing some issues.

He almost got Aaron Finch with it in the last over and he causes David Warner to get in a tangle this over.

Warner and Rashid Khan both played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in this year's IPL so I imagine the opener has seen plenty of Rashid in the nets.

    Seven from the over.

  5. Aus 87-0published at 15 overs

Aaron Finch and David Warner are just milking the Afghanistan spinners here.

    It's all far too comfortable.

Four come from Nabi's third over.

Aaron Finch bought up his half century in the last over.

Here are a couple of those huge maximums that helped him reach the milestone.

Will people still be dressing as sandpaper come the fifth Ashes Test in September?

    I reckon so.

There's a couple dressed in what looks like yellow boxes on the balcony of one of the flats overlooking the ground. I think they might be dressed as sandpaper.

  9. Aus 83-0published at 14 overs

14 from Rashid Khan's first over.

Not the impression Afghanistan were hoping he'd make.

  10. Aus 80-0published at 13.3 overs

Ooh the googly almost does for Aaron Finch.

He gets into a tangle and can only chop down on the ball but a shy at the stumps allows him to get through for a single.

Aaron Finch wants to hit Rashid Khan out of the attack here.

Aaron Finch rocks back and cuts Rashid Khan to the point boundary.

Fifty for the Australian captain off 40 balls.

    Here comes Rashid Khan.

He has taken four five-wicket hauls in ODIs for Afghanistan, as many as every other Afghanistan player combined.

  14. Aus 69-0published at 13 overs

Aside from that review another uneventful over.

Australia are just milking Afghanistan at the moment and dealing with the bad ball.

David Warner gets in a bit of a tangle as he chops a delivery.

He loses where the ball is and its dribbled backwards into the hands of wicketkeeper Mohammad Shahzad who whips the bails off with Warner scrambling back.
