Afghanistan have had their moments, they had to cash in on that very good start but they find new ways to get out. They excite you for 40 minutes and then play some shots that just aren't required.
They needed some simple batting. Make a partnership, build an advantage.
Play will restart at 15:30 BST.
The sun is starting to peak through as the ground staff slowly (very slowly) remove the covers from the pitch.
However, from there it started to go a bit wrong for Afghanistan as they slipped from 66-0 to 66-3 and then 70-4 in the space of 20 balls.
While they are finishing off the clean-up operation let's have a quick recap of what's happened so far.
Hazratullah Zazai and Noor Ali Zadran got Afghanistan off to a good start as they reached 61-0 off the powerplay.
Good news.
The umbrellas are starting to come down and the covers are being removed.
We should be back under way shortly.
The ground staff have covered the pitch and the bowlers run-ups but they've left the square uncovered.
They must be fairly confident this is going to blow over fairly quickly.

Ex-New Zealand captain on BBC Test Match Special
You normally see a lot of boundaries in the opening 10 overs because of the field settings and if a batsman like Hazratullah Zazai is prepared to go for it and risk things there's not much you can do. We saw that.
You can bowl like it's at the death and mix it up, bowl yorkers, take pace off the ball but Matt Henry isn't that sort of bowler. He was too full or too short a lot of the time.
Back in Taunton, the ground staff don't seem in any particular rush to get the covers on. It's all a bit odd.
Bangladesh's chase of 387 to beat England is under way. And it's not started well as Soumya Sarkar has been bowled by Jofra Archer.
You can join Jamie Lillywhite for that over here.
As the players were leaving the field, the TV cameras cut to a spectator whose umbrella had been blown inside out as he attempted to put it up.
While that's not particularly good for that fan, it may be a good sign for us as it hopefully means the shower will blow through pretty quickly.
The heavens have opened and we're going to have a delay.
Jimmy Neesham continues for New Zealand.
It's more watchful stuff from Afghanistan. Until the final delivery, anyway, when Mohammad Nabi chips down the ground and it plugs just in-front of the rope - like a perfectly pitched golf shot on the green - allowing them to run a couple.
A couple of singles - both to the third man region - end the over.
A boundary!
It's a bit floaty and wide from Colin de Grandhomme and Hashmatullah Shahidi slashes to the point boundary. He's up to five off 28 deliveries.

Very subdued atmosphere around most of this ground since New Zealand got themselves on top with four quick wickets.
There are plenty of Afghanistan fans inside this ground waving their flags just like they were in Bristol and Cardiff in their first two games so far against Australia and Sri Lanka.
The team on the PA are doing their best to get them going by playing a couple of home favourites, but not much of that translating out into the middle at present.
Think most of the neutrals here as well would like to see a few more Afghanistan boundaries like in the opening powerplay.
Another maiden. The fourth of the innings now.
Afghanistan are having to rebuild somewhat.
The score predictor on TV reckons Afghanistan will get 228. Hmm. That feels a long way off at the moment.
The Afghanistan scoring rate has absolutely flatlined since they lost their first wicket...
Jimmy Neesham was just changing ends as he replaces Lockie Ferguson.
