India came in with a plan, they decided they were not going to do anything flash with Amir early on and just see him off.

But Virat Kohli really didn't want to see his dismissal again.

He walked, believing he had edged Mohammad Amir behind, only for replays to show he had not hit the ball.

Pakistan did a decent job of restricting runs when it had looked like India would clear 350. Instead Kohli's men made 336-5.

India still had Virat Kohli at the crease though. Handy that.

The India skipper was in imperious form once again and Hardik Pandya helped him up the run rate.

Rohit Sharma took full advantage of that error, bringing up a sublime century - his 24th in ODIs and second of this World Cup.

But he did have a bit of a brain fade in scooping straight to short fine leg to finally fall for 140...

Yep, Pakistan should have run out Rohit Sharma by a mile early on but Fakhar Zaman made a complete horlicks of it, throwing to the wrong end.

If they had run Rohit Sharma out early, who knows? It was a lovely innings. He has two hundreds and a fifty.

Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and put India in to bat under cloudy skies.

But the pitch didn't offer as much to his bowlers as he wanted and most of them, Mohammad Amir aside, were very wasteful.

A lot of people are making their minds up now. It's not heavy rain but Pakistan are so far behind.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Shadab Khan were chatting as they walked off the field and almost got taken out by the hover cover. They ended up having to do a sheepish jog around it.

The time of the day dictates it won't have to rain for too long for it to be all over.

Still awaiting a proper close finish in this tournament. Starting to get a bit too predictable.

Everyone just wants to go home. It's been a long day out.

Imad Wasim is still up for it though. Driving and cutting away. He can't get a run, mind.

Shadab Khan drives it to pick up a single to get off the mark.

Shankar will never have an easier ODI wicket, it just looked like a normal straight ball, Safaraz ended up in no man's land.

    Sarfaraz b Shankar 12 (Pak 165-6)

A very ungainly dismissal for Pakistan's captain.

Vijay Shankar sends it down on a good line and length. Sarfaraz Ahmed jumps back and tries to drive it away, hands way out in front of his body, but just flicks it off an inside edge and on to his own stumps.

A very scratchy knock of 12 off 30 balls. A thankless task given the situation but no attempt to try and get Pakistan anywhere near to the DLS par score.
