Whenever Hetmyer plays the ball all along the carpet he looks a different class.

Shimron Hetmyer rocks back as Mehedi drops short and smacks it through the covers for four. Finding the gaps with aplomb here.

What a shot that is from Hetmyer. The moment he stepped out the intention was clear - 'I am going to come and play some big shots'.

Shimron Hetmyer gets on one knee and sweeps it high and handsome out of the ground over mid-wicket.

    What a strike!

Andre Russell leans back in the dug out to watch it go. He'd be proud of that one.

Why would you want to bowl a short-pitched delivery at that slow pace? You know whenever you have done you have been punished.

Short from Saifuddin and a gentle pace. Shimron Hetmyer picks it early and mashes a fine hook shot over the fence.

A poor ball given the short boundary there for the left-hander.

Hope and Hetymer have decided this is a big moment in the game. Can Bangladesh tighten up and create an opportunity?

    Hope 69, Hetmyer 14

Hetmyer ends an eventual over by dropping into mid-wicket for a couple. 19 off the over.

Bangladesh have made a complete mess of it - no-one up to the stumps.

  14. WI 191-3published at 34.5 overs

Dearie me. Bangladesh have mucked this up royally.

Shai Hope guides it fine and there is a mix-up with Shimron Hetmyer. Yes, no, yes, no and finally they go.

Both batsmen are in the middle of the pitch as the throw comes in from Saifuddin and misses the stumps.

No one got to either set of stumps either to field the throw. Shambles. Mustafizur went to back up the throw at mid-wicket instead of running to the stumps.

Either would've been run out by a mile.

The most expensive over of the innings and Shai Hope had gone 50 balls without hitting a boundary before he hit that six.

The Bangladeshis need to settle down here because the danger is of the wheels coming off quite quickly.

  17. WI 189-3published at 34.3 overs

Uh oh. The Fizz tries to bounce Shai Hope in response but gets it all wrong and the ball sails over the head of the diminutive keeper Mushfiqur. Five wides.

And then he follows it up with another wide down the leg side.

And now Shai Hope is on the hook and whacking it away for four!

    Accelerator button: hit.

It was nicely struck and he kept his balance even though he was advancing down the wicket, maybe just an indication to Hetmyer to get himself in for a few more balls.

Plenty of effervescence from Shai Hope instead!

The Windies number three skips down the pitch and cross-bat slaps Mustafizur Rahman over long-off for a flat six!
