    Time for The Fizz.

  2. WI 174-3published at 34 overs

    Run rate 5.12

Saifuddin dupes Hetmyer with a slower ball that he edges wide enough of short third man to jog a single.

Hope taps off his pads for a couple and then again for a single.

It's a bit infuriating because you get the sense Hetmyer gets carried away with all the attention around him. He wants to live up to it, but he's got all the tools and you want to see him play with his head on.

  4. WI 170-3published at 33.1 overs

A long hop from Saifuddin and Hetmyer crashes it off the back foot over mid-wicket for four. Shot!

    Hope 55, Hetmyer 7

A bad ball down the leg side from Shakib and Hetmyer puts it away with aplomb for four.

If Shimron sticks around for a while, this is going to be a very fun end to the innings.

Has the game been reduced to 34 overs per side?

  8. WI 161-3published at 32.4 overs

New man Shimron Hetmyer carves his second ball out to cow corner. Not a clean hit but he gets two.

The young man is not going to have a look before teeing off.

This is why he is the number one all-rounder in the world. He deceives players with his flight and change of pace. Pooran is such a talent and once again he has got another start. That will be a discussion - how does he convert those into meaningful innings?

They've taken on Shakib again and it's the second time they have been unsuccessful.

    Pooran c Soumya b Shakib 25 (WI 159-3)

And that's the problem with letting the opposition put pressure on you with dot balls and then looking for the big shot.

Nicholas Pooran got a decent start but falls trying to up the scoring rate.

The young gun bends down to try and slog-sweep Shakib Al Hasan out of the ground but miscues it and can only pick out Soumya Sarkar at long-on.

  12. WI 158-2published at 32 overs

    Hope 54, Pooran 25

Nicholas Pooran crashes away a cut shot that is half-stopped at point, the fielder wheeling around with no idea where the ball has gone. Fortunately a team-mate comes in and it's only a single.

Oooh. Pooran flays away at a ball angled across him and almost nicks off.

A fine over from Saifuddin - just two from it.

West Indies shouldn't be banking on the old-school tactic of reaching 200 for not many off 40 overs and attacking in the last 10. If Bangladesh get a few wickets in the next eight overs then West Indies won't have gone anywhere.

A break in the spin bowling for now - Mohammad Saifuddin is back into the attack.

He has taken 1-12 in three overs today, removing Chris Gayle for a duck. Bangladesh could do with a couple of quick wickets here.

Part of the Bangladesh game plan is to own and dictate the pace of the game. A number have gone through their overs in about a minute and 45 seconds.

    Cheers Callum.

In the three defeats by Bangladesh in Dublin last month, West Indies batted first each time and made 261-9 (50 overs), 247-9 (50 overs) and 152-1 off 24 hours in the rain-affected final.

They look on course for a bigger total than those here that will test Bangladesh's chasing abilities.

  19. WI 151-2published at 30 overs

Good comeback from Mehidy as West Indies only add a scrambled single off the final delivery.

They look in decent shape here. Jack Skelton will take you through the remainder of their innings.

I think there is a repair job on here. A tile has been damaged and it has ripped a bit of the white ball.
