That's shot of the day so far from Shai Hope. It wasn't a great delivery but it was a high quality shot.
Gayle watching on a little wistfully from the balcony in his West Indies beanie hat as left-arm seamer Mustafizur is the first bowling change, with Hope playing a beautifully straight back foot drive and holding the pose for his second boundary.
With Chris Gayle going for a duck, it has been Evin Lewis who has hit the boundaries so far for the Windies. Let's take a look at the opening boundary of the day.
We have bad news from the England camp: opener Jason Roy will miss the next two games with a torn hamstring.
Mashrafe continues and just singles on offer for the West Indies, who left out Carlos Brathwaite in favour of Darren Bravo is you're just joining us. Their highest score is 273 in the tournament so far.
This is Brian, Somerset's resident cat. He looks like a Brian doesn't he? and Brian even has his own profile page, external on the club's website.

A fine way to get off the mark for Hope from his eighth delivery faced, seizing on to a short one from Saifuddin and pulling it sweetly to the mid-wicket boundary. Lewis adds his second four with another stylish back foot stroke but then edges one just short of slip.

I thought batting would be a better option this morning but you've got to give credit to the Bangladesh bowling.
Mashrafe again and Lewis pushes a purposeful quick single, but still only the one boundary in the innings. Bangladesh with the upper hand against the Windies in recent meetings, winning six of the last seven, including all three games in Dublin last month.

Is it just me or is Gayle seriously underperforming at this World Cup?
Harris, Bristol
Something not quite right about Gayle there. Don't think this was gonna be his game. Need some big performances now...
Harry, Portsmouth
The seamers bowled a good line to Gayle, all the deliveries were enticing outside the leg stump and eventually he prodded at one that was smartly taken low to his left by the keeper. Shai Hope is the new batsman and he plays resolutely in defence.

That is Chris Gayle's second World Cup duck. Both have come against Bangladesh.

That's the breakthrough Bangladesh wanted. It was a smart catch by Mushfiqur Rahim.
Gayle c Mushfiqur b Saifuddin 0 (WI 6-1)
No fireworks today. The big man has gone for a 13-ball duck. Full, just outside off stump, Gayle is drawn forward and wicketkeeper Mushfiqur takes a very smart catch diving to his left.

Evin Lewis was a very lucky man to survive that.
Lewis 5, Gayle 0
The first boundary of the day and it comes from Lewis with a sweetly timed force off the back foot to the square cover fence, but in trying to repeat the shot he gets an inside edge into the pad that rolls narrowly beyond the stumps.

There's just a fraction of movement for Mohammad Saifuddin.
Bangladesh won toss
Evin Lewis is the other West Indies opener, another left-hander, and he needs a score, having made only three runs in two innings. He gets off the mark first ball.
Saifuddin, whose name they seem to spell Shaifuddin on the TV, from the River End and he keeps things steady with an accurate over.
