  1. Ban 138-3published at 20 overs

    Shakib 49, Liton 0

After his first three overs went for 27, Cottrell finds a much better rhythm and deceives Shakib with a slower ball, resulting in an unusual scoop down the ground, but there is enough bat on it to clear the field and reach the boundary, Shakib's seventh four.

Oshane Thomas has stolen a wicket there. It's a huge bonus wicket for him and West Indies.

    Mushfiqur c Hope b Thomas 1 (Ban 133-3)

But a reprieve for Thomas. Poor Mushfiqur can barely drag his jaw from the ground as he trudges off, he cannot believe he has got a tickle on a stray one down the leg side. It would have been a wide but it's a wicket.

  4. Ban 133-2published at 18.5 overs

Big Oshane, in only his 14th ODI, has not got the radar right yet and is neatly put away for two more boundaries through the off side by the assured Shakib.

It took a superb piece of fielding to dismiss Tamim, who hit six fours in his 48 from 53 deliveries.

  6. Ban 121-2published at 18 overs

    Target 322

The diminutive Mushfiqur is the new batsman, with scores of 78, 19 and 44 so far in the tournament. A key phase ahead for the two former skippers, both of whom have played more than 200 ODIs.

It's a fantastic bit of cricket from Sheldon Cottrell. It was all in one motion.

It's so instinctive from Sheldon Cottrell, it was all in a flash.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.3 overs

Tamim run out (Cottrell) 48 (Ban 121-2)

Sheer brilliance from Cottrell, who took that spectacular catch on the boundary earlier in the tournament of course. He couldn't trouble them with his bowling but a stunning pick up and throw in his follow through and Tamim is gone. Like Roger Harper all those years ago.

This could be the moment for West Indies, a brilliant piece of fielding from Cottrell.

I'm not happy with the lengths that West Indies are bowling. They've either been too short or too full, they haven't found the right length between the two.

  12. Ban 119-1published at 17 overs

    Run-rate 7.0

Short again from Thomas, who took 0-43 from six overs in his last match against England. It's 88mph but Shakib has all the time to pull it to the mid-wicket fence for his fourth boundary.

Fatboynotsoslim: At Taunton today and watching WI try to bounce out Bangladesh has been deja-vu-esque. The short ball has been dispatched time and time again. Unimaginative.

  14. drinks break

    Drinks breakpublished at 16 overs

Ban 112-1 (210 more needed from 34 overs)

A second over without a boundary but Gabriel's first three overs have gone for 19, while Cottrell's opening three have cost 27 and Russell has 1-27 from three.

  17. Ban 108-1published at 15 overs

    Target 322

Huge cheers around the ground as Shakib reaches 6,000 ODI runs in his 202nd match with a neat two off Thomas. One piece of good news for the West Indians is that Russell is back on the field.

  19. Ban 103-1published at 14 overs

The field spread as Gabriel chugs in again and Tamim brings up the hundred with another blistering stroke to the extra cover boundary, we have already seen 11 fours and two sixes and look how far the Bangladesh worm is ahead of the West Indian equivalent.
