Very good over for Bangladesh - 18 runs off it.

That is a shot he plays well - it's almost like a front-foot pull. There was a man in the crowd carrying a tiger under each arm, which rather hampered his chances of catching it.

    Tamim 9, Soumya 19

The first six of the innings and the 150th of the tournament as Soumya flicks Cottrell 76 metres over mid-wicket and then glances the next ball neatly off his hip for four more. A fine slide from Hetmyer prevents a third successive boundary.

Cottrell up at 90mph but it is flying off the bat at present, although this one beats everything and sails over wicketkeeper Hope to the rope for five wides.

It's an important game for both teams. The one that wins still has hopes of getting in the top four but the one that loses it's unfortunately going to be very tough for them.

    Tamim 8, Soumya 7

Here's how the table looked going into this contest, a must-win game for both teams you have to say.

Holder traps Tamim on the pad but the consensus is that it is heading down the leg side and there is no review. We didn't see one in the West Indies innings.

  6. England lose Roy as Hales call-up not ruled outpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

England are in action on Tuesday - but they will be without opener Jason Roy, who has been ruled out for two games with a torn hamstring.

Equally interestingly, captain Eoin Morgan has refused to rule out calling up Alex Hales - initially dropped from the squad for reportedly taking recreational drugs - as a replacement for Roy later in the tournament.

"If [national selector] Ed Smith felt that Alex was the best option, we would have to assess how that would sit in the changing room and the stigma it would bring," Morgan told BBC Sport.

    Target 322

The left-arm Cottrell again from the Pavilion End, getting some movement away from the left-handers around 83mph. CH Gayle, who made a 13-ball duck earlier, is some 25 metres back as the solitary slip, hoping his back holds up. I know the feeling.

This is a very good pitch to bat on. The key is the shot selection - which ones to hit and which ones to leave.

  9. Ban 11-0published at 2 overs

    Target 322

The Windies keeping big Oshane Thomas in reserve as captain Jason Holder takes up the attack. Soumya Sarkar is the other Bangladesh opener, also left-handed, and he steers Holder over the gully and short of third man to begin with a single.

There is an appeal for lbw as the skipper nips one back to Tamim but from that height it is not surprisingly going over the top. What a handsome stroke to finish the over from Sarkar, holding the pose as he hoists a drive to the extra cover boundary.

John Edwards: WI should have a winning total but with a question mark over some of their bowlers' fitness, who knows?

Hossain: Bangladesh have potential to win this game. Go Tigers.

Sho: We bowled well for 35 overs then seemed to throw the game plan out the window. 322 can be chased but we don't have a good record of chasing totals above 300. It's in the balance.

    Target 322

Swashbuckling left-hander Tamim Iqbal has 11 one-day centuries and a whopping 46 fifties but he has not gone beyond 24 in the tournament so far. He opens his account with a stylish cut to the boundary as Cottrell strays short and wide.

It's not going to be easy. If you get a good start, you need to push on and get a big score.

The highest successful chase in the World Cup so far is New Zealand's 248, which came against Bangladesh at The Oval, so what can the Tigers manage? The asking rate is 6.44 per over as the sergeant, Sheldon Cottrell, takes the first over.

Here's a good spot to watch from. It's a beautiful ground and I'm definitely going to try and get there again. Went once years ago and had an embarrassing Elton John-style tantrum when I realised Ian Botham was not playing. My dear old granddad had to deal with it.

The highest score at the ground is India's 373 in 1999 when Sourav Ganguly hit 17 fours and seven sixes in his 183.

Thanks Callum. It's still a bit overcast as we prepare for the Bangladesh reply but no rain yet an we are promised none to come so we shall see. The Tigers have already posted 330 in beating South Africa at The Oval so what can they do at Taunton this afternoon?
