There is some relief in the body language of the New Zealand batsman at hitting these boundaries.
Four!
A cover drive from Kane Williamson that makes the crowd purr off Carlos Brathwaite.

Benjamin White: Never eat yellow snow, never put a fork in the toaster and never predict a cricket match. I love live cricket!
Kane Williamson angles his bat and gets a single through third man. Copy and paste for eternity. A pleasure to watch.
And Ross Taylor thumps a delightful cut through cover for four! Lovely.
I'm not saying Kane Williamson is too nice a guy, but I think he's just apologised to Chris Gayle for making him do some fielding...

West Indies have not bowled outstandingly well but it does look difficult to score out there.
Frame it.

Oosh!
Carlos Brathwaite bends his back into a short ball and Ross Taylor gets into a right pickle trying to hook it away. He swivels, bat still high, and ends up plopping the ball down at his feet while looking in completely the opposite direction.
Carlos time!

Elgan Evan Alderman: Both openers dismissed for golden ducks in Sheldon Cottrell's first over. Only previous instances of both openers out for 0 (1) in ODIs:
Williamson 35, Taylor 35
Ross Taylor comes racing down for a single and then realises Kane Williamson hasn't moved a muscle.
Taylor throws his hands up as if to say "why didn't you run?!" and Williamson motions to him to calm down.
And now four for Ross Taylor!
He stands tall and punches Oshane Thomas back down the ground for a gorgeous four. Ashley Nurse chases after it and then, for some reason, dives when it's about two inches away from the boundary rope.
It was tricky for Ross Taylor first up, but this was a beauty.
Williamson 34, Taylor 30
Ah, Kane Williamson.
He meets a full ball from Jason Holder and drives it with aplomb through mid-off for four. Lovely stuff.

You've got to find a way of winning - sometimes you've got to win ugly. England like to be very aggressive, but they don't often play in tight situations, and they've not got over the line against Pakistan or Sri Lanka.
Kane Williamson flashes a few decent looking shots straight at the close fielders, and New Zealand will have to settle for three from the over.
Oshane Thomas continues after the drinks break.
And, er, thanks to you that pointed out the typo in the entry at 14:37. They really shouldn't have the 'i' and the 'o' so close to each other...

Williamson's been the glue for New Zealand, just as Joe Root is for England.

Williamson is up to 250 runs in this World Cup, which means he averages 250 as he's only been out once.
