    WICKETpublished at 24 overs

    Gayle c Boult b De Grandhomme 87 (WI 152-5)

    This could be the game.

Trent Boult shelled a chance off Chris Gayle earlier but makes no mistake this time.

The West Indies opener tries to leather it out of the ground but miscues and the ball hangs high in the air. Boult settles himself and pouches it at long on.

A terrible collapse for West Indies - three wickets for 10 runs in 12 balls.

  2. WI 152-4published at 23.5 overs

Chris Gayle swivels it round the corner to give Jimmy Neesham a chase at wide fine leg.

Gayle comes to a standstill after completing the first, weighs it up and elects for a second.

    And he makes it!

  3. WI 150-4published at 23.3 overs

Chris Gayle is still in, though.

The opener carts Colin de Grandhomme's off-cutter up over the covers for four.

    That's the 150 up.

  4. WI 146-4published at 23 overs

    Target 292

A sublime over from Lockie Ferguson, taking his tournament tally to 13 wickets.

He's level with Mohammad Amir now, behind leaders Jofra Archer and Mitchell Starc on 15.

Sam: I just love cricket. This is fantastic stuff.

  6. WI 146-4published at 22.4 overs

It could've been three in four balls though!

Lockie Ferguson moves it away towards off stump at 91mph, Carlos Brathwaite angles his bat, the ball flicking the edge and bouncing just short of the diving wide first slip.

The ball ricochets away to the boundary.

  7. WI 142-4published at 22.3 overs

Ferguson digs it in at Brathwaite's ribs and the big all-rounder defends.

Here we go. Carlos Brathwaite on strike...

The double bluff! Excellent from Kane Williamson, putting a leg slip in, thinking it might balloon up, but it's outside off and the outside edge is found.

I haven't seen much of Lockie Ferguson live, but he's quick, and he's got New Zealand back in the contest.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 22.2 overs

    Holder c Latham b Ferguson 0 (WI 142-4)

Gone! First ball! The match swings New Zealand's way.

Lockie Ferugson pushes it full and fast and Jason Holder prods at it with his feet going nowhere.

A feather of an inside edge and Tom Latham takes it behind. Holder immediately trudges off.

Ferguson has two in two. Will we have two World Cup hat-tricks in one day?

Windies skipper Jason Holder is in at five. A place or two higher than you'd ideally want.

A brilliant back-of-the-hand slower ball, which completely bamboozled Hetmyer. Brilliant from Ferguson, he's been very impressive.

With the rate required, the West Indies management will be thinking "did he need to take any risk at that stage?"

With all of that ability and all of that aggression from Hetmyer, Ferguson stays focused and gets the wicket.

    WICKETpublished at 22.1 overs

    Hetmyer b Ferguson 54 (WI 142-3)

    Huge moment.

Superb, canny bowling from Lockie Ferguson, sending down the leg cutter out of the back of the hand.

Shimron Hetmyer thinks it's the short ball he can whack over square leg so he's through the shot far too early and the ball rocks back the top of leg stump.

Big celebration from Tache Ferguson. He enjoyed that one!

What an atmosphere we have here. The West Indians are singing, dancing and shouting. The West Indian crowd like to talk the batsman through the innings, don't they?!

The 12th man has got to be a strong chap to run out with a couple of Chris Gayle's bats. They're about 4lb - they've got "The Boss" on them, I don't think he's allowed to have "Universe Boss" on them for some reason.

  19. WI 142-2published at 21.5 overs

The new willow works! De Grandhomme strays wide and Gayle cracks a cut shot away for four.

  20. WI 138-2published at 21.4 overs

De Grandhomme of course therefore starts with four dot balls.

    Gayle has broken his bat.

    He calls for another tree.
