Pakistan's matches after this are against New Zealand, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
They couldn't make a late charge into a semi-final place again, could they?

This is a huge game. Pakistan could just about could qualify if they lose this game but it would be extremely difficult. South Africa would be numerically out if they lost. It is must-win for both teams.

Pakistan: Imam ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Haris Sohail, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Afridi.
South Africa: Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, Aiden Markram, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Chirs Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Lungi Ngidi.
Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed: "It looks like a good pitch but we'd like to put runs on the board and hopefully defend it. We're focusing on this match and not other things. It's an important game for us."
South Africa captain Faf du Plessis: "There's always pressure. Hopefully we'll see an exciting game today with both sides playing their best cricket. I think we've been getting better in every game. Hopefully today is another opportunity. I'm happy to be chasing - I would have bowled first, so it's a good toss to lose."
Two changes for Pakistan. Shoaib Malik and Hassan Ali out. In come Shaheen Afridi and Haris Sohail.
South Africa are unchanged from their narrow defeat to New Zealand. Faf says he would have chose to bowl anyway.
Faf du Plessis calls incorrectly.
Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed decides to bat first under cloudy skies.
Here's the toss...
Today this World Cup comes home.
It is the first match at Lord's in this tournament.
Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed: "The tournament is open now, so we have a chance. So we are focussing match by match. So hopefully we will try to win tomorrow's match."
South Africa batsman Aiden Markram: "We definitely never feel done and out.
"We've sort of tried to put a lot of focus back completely on to us going forward. It's obviously really important that we win the remaining three of our games, and if there's outside chance of qualifying, that would be incredible.
"But the only way we're going to do that is by winning the next three games. A lot of focus is on us at the moment, us as a squad and trying to win the next three games and from there we'll take it as it comes."
Here's what the players had to say about their prospects at Saturday's press conference...
It's last chance saloon for these two teams.
Sri Lanka's win over England has brought Pakistan and South Africa back into the tournament slightly but they must win every game from here to make the top four and qualify for the semi-finals.
If Pakistan win they'll go to five points with three games to play. They could still get to 11 points in this tournament.
A South Africa win today would move them five points overall but they will have two games left and can therefore only get to nine points. It's a tougher ask for them.
And so to today.
Will we get another memorable game?
It's time for Pakistan against South Africa.
This is undoubtedly one of the images of this, and any, World Cup...

It was one of the best games we have seen in a very long time.

Morning. Recovered from last night yet?
First there was England on Friday. The shock and the tension of Sri Lanka's win.
Then there was India v Afghanistan. Afghanistan almost pulled off one of the biggest upsets in cricket history but India held on in a dramatic final over thanks to Mohammad Shami's hat-trick.
And late last night we arguably had the best of the lot. West Indies were down and out at 164-7 chasing 292 to beat New Zealand but batting with the tail Carlos Brathwaite smashed his side back into the game.
He reached his hundred and hit 25 runs off the 48th over. West Indies needed six from seven balls and Brathwaite went for one last big shot. He was agonisingly caught on the boundary.
It was a cruel, cruel end to an incredible game.
Some people: "This World Cup has been boring. There have been no close games."
The last two days: "Hold my beer..."
