HE'S DEFINITELY CAUGHT THIS ONE. WHAT A CATCH FROM IMRAN TAHIR.

The leg-spinner has stuck out a right hand low in his follow-through and has plucked the ball out of the air, inches above the ground. It was well hit by Imam. It probably would have gone for four had he not caught it.

Tahir's celebrations are always quite something but this might be the longest of the lot. He's done the full bend of a 200m race and then been pulled up by his team-mates halfway down the home straight.

Fakhar Zaman looked very dangerous. Pakistan haven't looked as threatening since he was out.

I'm saying nothing. I have made my opinions of JP Duminy quite clear on these pages in the past.

A wonderful shot, punching it into the ground and giving the fielder no chance.

Finally a boundary to break the run of singles. It's delightful from Babar Azam. He crunches Lungi Ngidi through the covers.

Wahab Riaz has a pair on binoculars on the balcony. I hope he was watching that shot.

  7. Pak 92-1published at 19 overs

South Africa are really squeezing now. Faf du Plessis' mood must be improving by the over.

It clearly bounced before being caught! What is Du Plessis getting upset about?

    Emma Kitson

Clearly out. Enough of this nonsense. Tahir knows it as well.

Lungi Ngidi returns after that pasting he took in his opening spell. Just one from the over.

Is the pitch slowing up? Is it harder to hit the ball as it gets softer? Are Pakistan just being more cautious.

    It's hard to tell.

Shiv: Is it just me or has David Miller been particularly bad at fielding this World Cup? Missed run outs, dropped catches, no runs... what does he contribute to this SA side to justify being selected?

Tahir has certainly been in the action. He's now bowling his second over and only concedes a single. Pakistan were 50-0 after 7.1 overs. They have only scored 39 runs in the 10 overs since.

Time to make your own mind up on the Imran Tahir 'catch'.

    Was this out?

    I'm still not over this.

Venkatraman: If there was a hall of infamy in this World Cup ranking needless shots, the one executed by Fakhar Zaman with Pakistan speeding away at 81-1 would rank top of the pile, closely followed by Rohit Sharma's 'scoop' in the game against Pakistan.

Yes, yes, yes Imam-ul-Haq. He times a flick off his toes to perfection and it goes between the two fielders on the leg side.

    Four more!
