A reminder of how the table looks at the moment. If Bangladesh successfully defend this then they will be right in the mix.

If Afghanistan can get it to 60-70 needed off the last 10 overs with five wickets left and a set batsman in, they will take that.

As Niall says that's not a spectacular total but a decent one from Bangladesh. There has only been one successful chance of over 250 in this tournament.

Bangladesh have played a steadied hand. Not exceptional but steady. I think both camps will be fairly happy at the interval.

Bangladesh coach Steve Rhodes will be thinking runs on the board is key.

A lovely slower ball. Afghanistan end on a high.

    Mosaddek b Gulbadin 35 (Ban 262-7)

Excellent slower ball from Gulbadin. Mosaddek waits and waits but is bowled off the inside edge. The ball had almost stopped by the time it got to the other end, it was that slow.

That's the end of the innings. Bangladesh finish on 262.

  12. Ban 262-6published at 49.5 overs

    One more to the total.

Can Bangladesh finish on a high?

  13. Ban 261-6published at 49.4 overs

And that drop means Mosaddek can get back on strike. He takes full advantage and drives for four.

No, no, no, no. That was an absolute goober! He's punched it!

  15. dropped catch

Saifuddin dropped on 0published at 49.2 overs

A shocker of a drop! Absolutely awful. It lobbed up to him. It's Dawlat Zadran again. The man who dropped Eoin Morgan on 20-odd before his record breaking innings last week.

  16. Ban 255-6published at 49.1 overs

Well bowled. Gulbadin gets it right in block hole first up. Just a single.

  17. Postpublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 24 June 2019

Can Mosaddek hit a couple more of these in the last over?

A swap of the bats! The new man Saifuddin just took Mushfiqur's bat off him!

  19. Ban 254-6published at 49 overs

    Mosaddek 29, Saifuddin 0

New batsman Mohammad Saifuddin likes what he's seen from Mushfiqur Rahim's bat. It worked for the number four so he takes it from him on his way to the crease.

One over to go but it'll be Mosaddek on strike.

He just didn't get it out of the screws and Nabi has a wonderful pair of hands. Mushfiqur just gave himself too much room.
